+ I spend the good part of my Monday in the Sheffield teaching dentistry hospital. The thing is, I have one tooth which had nerve removed and filling made 17 years ago in Russia. This tooth became a main star of the show on Monday. I had to make x-rays of three different shapes and forms, and then all the students and tutors alike spent about 30 minutes discussing how bad my Russian dentistry work is and saying things like “Oh what are we going to do now??” They decided to let it be for now, but apparently they have not seen anything like it in their entire life. Hee! That was my moment of fame. :)

+ EEEE! Look at this! Because I helped my friend to put her web-site on-line she unexpectedly has sent me this fabulous necklace from Finland! I absolutely adore jewellery and in this sense I am a total magpie who likes all things shiny. And this necklace is lovely and looks very Scandinavian to me! I am so very happy!

+ I have watched the first episode of "The Nine" Very interesting, but I can’t say more yet. I am definitely going to watch this – in this show there seems to be an attempt made to analyse/understand an effect of the hostage situation on hostages. This is an interesting subject from the start. It could be just me, but I think that in the recent films/shows about the terrorism there is too much emphasis on the terror-makers and their views and too little on the normal people who just happened to be involved in the terrorist attacks/hostage situations.

+ I have found my "Supernatural" love in this season. From the start of season 2 I am feeling very involved. Yes, brothers Winchester are pretty and all sorts of gorgeous and always have been. But there seems to be an improvement in the quality of the episodes and also there seems to be more emphasis made on their character development. Where before brothers seemed to be some sort of cardboard figures they are opening to be more of the interesting human beings now.

To celebrate this, couple of the pictures of Winchester brothers:

Dean is the prettiest of the pretty:

Sam is very cute too:

My favourite picture of Dean:

+ And I fell in love with the Korea drama "A love to kill", or to say more precisely, with it’s main protagonist Kang Bog-ku (portrayed by the gorgeous Korean star Rain). Some more on A Love to Kill that I posted in [livejournal.com profile] dorama_chat

YAY! I'm so glad you watched "The Nine" (and you actually have some deeper thoughts about it than just "TIM DALY! HOT!" which is more like me... Hee hee!) I'm very intrigued and hoping like mad that ABC doesn't cancel this because the ratings aren't stellar.

OH, and that necklace is GORGEOUS! I am also a magpie like you :P

EEE! Thank you! Though Tim Daily is very hot!!! And phew – who is the queen of interesting and deep analysis if it is not you!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to watch second episode today – thank you very much for recommending it! I am so hooked on the last scene where Felicia comes to the prison to speak with Lucas Dalton.

OH, and that necklace is GORGEOUS! I am also a magpie like you :P

I can’t resist! My husband knows it and is too indulgent!!!

Pretty necklace, very pretty!

I'm sad that I'm not finding much TV love this season beyond watching BSG -- mostly because whenever I try to find a show, it's pre-empted by baseball or the like. *sigh*

Thank you! Actually your "outfit logs" inspired me to talk about more "material" things. I love thins necklace and it was so nice from my friend to send it!!!

I remember this feeling - in Russia it was an iron law of TV broadcasts that the last episode of your favourite drama would be always displaces by the game of football. Or worse - Gorbachev's speech.

Hee! I'm glad my outfit log has been of some use. As for the television, I'm learning to cope. What with football, hockey and baseball all in season, right now, I should just as soon give up on broadcast. Well, all of that and the other three people in the family!

I understand! You see, I cheat this - I let my dearest watch football (Ok, I admit - I often watch football too :) and watch my TV on the computer. :)

The necklace is gorgeous indeed!!! I'm so happy for you! The funny thing is that I love jewelry but I rarely wear any! *hee*

Supernatural is LOVE, period. I loving the new season so much and especially now that there's more character development!!!!

I concur!!! He is my favorite imaginary tv boyfriend at the moment! *hee*

think I also wear much less of jewellery then I posses. MAGPIE !!!( with many caps :) I wonder if there are any traditional types of jewellery in Spain. In UK we have designs by Rennie Mackintosh - very original and stylish! This is an example : (http://www.rennie-mackintosh-jewellery.co.uk/rennie-mackintosh-jewellery/rennie-mackintosh-necklaces-p1.shtml)

I loving the new season so much and especially now that there's more character development!!!!

That was what was missing from the season 2!! And - Oh Dean! I am so infatuated by the "A love to kill" protagonist, but Dean is the very close second at the moment. :)

Nothing in particular comes to mind O_o, I think there isn't a traditional type of jewellry here *hee*. My aunties have some pretty pieces of jewellry, but those pieces could have been bought in any other European country :)

Oh! Now a couple of things have come to mind!!! Catholicism has had a lot of influence in some costumes and traditions, and there are some traditional types of jewellry you can find related to that, like crucifix pendants (usually golden)and medals of saints/The Virgin Mary/Jesus/Joseph, not many people were those anymore very often though.

is country has a lot of Catholic influence in some traditional stuff like medals

Oh, thank you so much for the information!!!. You are so sweet! It is very interesting to think that Spain has such a large influence of Catholicism. Similar to many South American countries, I think.

The necklace is gorgeous. What a thoughtful friend. I'm sure the pretty more than made up for the terrible (if funny) dentist appointment.

It was so lovely and unexpected. And she somehow knew my favourite colour - green.!!!!

The dentist appointment wasn't that bad - I didn't feel any pain or anything when my teeth were drilled. For the first time in my life! Yay to UK dentists!!

I can't wait to catch up on Supernatural - I'm still stuck at halfway through the first season! And also, I can't wait to begin A Love to Kill which I've already capped part of the first episode without even watching it because it was so beautifully filmed. Rain is pretty amazing, isn't he? I need more time to catch up on so much right now!

And your necklace is so beautiful. :)

I have missed a fair bit of Supernatural season 1 too. Though I have watched the final episodes and was so inpatient to find out what happened after the cliff-hanger that I just jumped into the watching season 2. But I keep watching season 1 methodically now - I feel that I must find out everything about the brothers and understand things well because I am so hooked!

I am now in the mode "Oh my poor heart, how did I live without seeing this guy on TV????". This is silly of course, but very accurate :) Rain was lovely as a puppy in "Full House" ,but in "A love to kill" he seems to be totally in the different category. He is a true star.

And your necklace is so beautiful

My friend is so kind!!!!!!!!!!!

And this necklace is lovely and looks very Scandinavian to me!

The necklace is beautiful, and you're right - it does look a little Scandinavian. Could I be seen as an expert on this subject? I don't know, but it does remind me of the jewelry that's used when wearing folk costumes and such. :)

And I completely agree in regards to Supernatural. It has become better this season. It looks like their focus is the characters first, and the stories second - which I think is wise. It's the family drama that got me hooked in the first place - as well as the pretty boys. ;) They have also done something about their cinematography - these last episodes have been absolutely beautiful to watch.

Eeeeeeeee! I am so thrilled that it has got your approval. !!!

Exactly!! Even season 1 was shot nicely, but now it all is really fabulous! I found that the latest episodes "Everybody love the clown", "In My Time of Dying" and even "Blodlust" were also very frightening for me in the good old "X-files" way. Where some of the episodes in season 1 left me feeling "So what????".

*nods* The show seems to have found it's form. And your right - it's a lot more scary. Okay - I've never liked clowns so that creeped me out automatically. But after John died the show has obtained this feeling of uncertainty, that nothing is safe anymore - and who the bad guys are is no longer so easy to tell. (like with Bloodlust).

Definitely. But Hmm - Am I too enthusiastic/optimistic to hope for John's return? I just can't see him gone forever.

I just can't see him gone forever.

Neither can I, but I fear that if/when he returns it will be a darker version. He did after all make a deal with a demon - that cannot be good.

And I wonder what form he'll take - because they did burn his body right?

Also the poor boys if John comes back. Dean is already falling apart, and beating the car with a sledge. :(

Hmm. You reminded me about body burning. I think that this is supposed to free his spirit so that it can never come back. Hmm.

Supernatural is about to start (1st season) in Italy, I can't wait to see it, Jared & Jensen are my personal idea of what heaven should be! and I hope I'll be involved with the plot of the show!
about the necklace there's nothing to say but that it's really gorgeous!
I've had my fifteen-minutes-of-fame too at the hospital, but my case was a bit ridicolous, because a little "accident" happened and unfortunately all the students saw something they shouldn't have to! I won't trouble you with the details but it was funny and embarassing at the same time :)

That necklace truly is beautiful.

I'm also loving Supernatural this season. The stories are getting more depth and the first three episodes have all been very good.

Hmm, I will have to check out those Rain titles once I get through Goong. I'm so new to Asian dramas (I've just seen Mars and am about halfway through Goong) that I have a huge backlog of things to watch.

So, so good! Many shows go nose diving after the first season and I thrilled to see that the opposite is possible.

If you liked "Mars", "A love to kill" somehow reminds me of it. Similarity is not in the stories which are different, and even not in the main characters, though both Ling and Bokgu are "bad boys". I think it must be an intensity of emotions both of this dramas give me. "Full house" is a happy and cheerful drama (though not without it's own angst) and Rain is incredibly cute there.

I agree -- Supernatural is soooo much better this year! Last year, I could take it or leave it. But I think it's the show I'm looking the MOST forward to, right now. Like, I kept thinking it was Thursday yesterday. Not so much!

Thank you!!!!

I am still going through the last season's Supernatural. But this season I am the same as you and I feel I want to watch every episode ASAP. And each episode is goooood. Dean's saying "sorry" at the end of last week's episode -- I loved it! ** cough, cough ** The brothers DO seem to love each other :)
