I love your pre-raphaelite banner, I'm trying to learn about that art style as it's all so gorgeous especially that Ophelia painting. I think most famous paintings of that style used the same model?

I adore pre-Rafaelite paintings. The one on my banner is "La Pia de'Tolomei" by Rossetti. The story is very sad, actually - poor lady was murdered by her husband because she was wrongly accused of being unfaithful.

You are so right saying that Elizabeth Siddal (Rossetti's model, lover and wife) was also the model for the famous painting "Ophelia" by Millais! Thank you very much , because I didn't know that before! LJ is great sometimes! Thank you!
