Cinderella's sister: 23% : well-deserved!

Bad Guy: 12% : not too bad for the first episode?? Or too low? I am in the middle of the episode 1 (with subtitles) and I think I am OBSESSED. It is no secret I like Kim Nam Gil, but I have also fallen instantaneously in love with Han Ga In's character, Moon Jae In.

Since BG is going against the last few eps of CU, I think 12% isn't bad at all for a start. The real test will come once CU is off the air.

I just read spoilers for ep 18 of CU and...wow. WOW.

I was going to wait until CU was over and parathon (with ff-ing the storylines that don't interest me) but I just make an exception for ep 18.

Episodes 13+ gradually getting heavier and heavier on OTP interaction, after HS/Ej relationship was resolved. It is all is gonna end Goooooood!

I love Jae In as well. I've never seen Han Ga In in anything before but I already like her. And Kim Nam Gil is so perfect as Gun Wook. I'm totally obsessed. I LOVE it.
I can tell that Gun Wook will end up dead though. I think I'm prepared.

I have seen her in "Witch Yoo Hee" (adorable drama but no-brainer), she was cute but I didn't feel too much depth at that time.

Hmm, I am not sure if he will die. We will see - so far aything can happen.

It is never quite a happy ending with this director,but after that "heaven or hell" remark I think Gun Wook is in for redemption.

I would love it if Gun Wook gets redemption. But I also kind of want him to destroy that family for what they did to him. I'm just super excited for the next ep and I hope withs2 releases their subs soon.

Yeah I do feel awful about the way he is taking advantage of poor Monae's crush. She and all the other siblings are innocent (but I suppose he blames the older two for standing idly by and doing nothing) and I feel bad that they'll be dragged into this.

I think this is more of the case "I hate the guts of these people" and trying to get to the parents through the children. I think he also definitely blames the boy for taking his place, which is a bit strange. But this just shows what kind of a hole he is in emotionally.

This all is indeed very dark.

I agree with everything you said/wrote. I think blaming the other Tae Sung for taking his place is his way of dealing with all the horrific things he had to go through (and god what kind of monsters leave a child out in the rain? Yeah so he may not be your son but you can't bother to let him stay inside while he waits for his parents to come get him (okay I really hated that his parents died on their way to him. It felt sort of contrived to me. I think I would've preferred if they'd died long ago and the Taeshin Group monsters just didn't tell the poor kid)? Jfc he's a human being not an object *rage*). But he's definitely got some major issues as does Kim Jae Wook's character. I feel so awful for these characters :(

I do love how dark and bleak it all seems though :D

Si far, the death of the parents (and the little puppy) was the only thing I haven't liked. It was OTT, contrived, cliched , everything. And yes, there could have been much better ways to deal with this.

Kim Jae Wook's character: I haven't watched the episode 2 with subs, but it felt as if Gun Wook has been shadowing Tae Sung for a while (for example, the girl who died at the beginning of the episode 1 was Tae Sung's girlfriend but Gun Wook was somehow involved with her). I think because of Gun Wook, Tae Sung can be close to a breakdown.

Yes that's it I'm pretty sure. I think his plan is to destroy the poor guy both emotionally and physically not that it'll take much. I think I feel much more for Tae Sung than Gun Wook so far but maybe that's because we don't know enough about Gun Wook.

Yeah it was pretty good and I enjoyed it except for the dead parents/dog thing.

I am the same - I am so drawn to Gun Wook, but I find him repelling at the same time. I feel more for Tae Sung (it helps that I am also very much attracted to him and his emo hair as well). :D

I just watched episode 3 and I really want to watch the next ep.

I think there will be some comeuppance for the older folks. But the kids - it is not their fault. It is also clear that he is the "real" son - and this is bound to be revealed at some point.
