Thank you so much for all your well-wishes, I am back to 100% normal. I have slept, watched "Black and White", "Fringe", and Korean drama "Fly High" (I love love love this drama, may be the best drama I watched in the last three month. More details about "Fly High" here).
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Also I have been watching Canadian show "The Listener". It is quickly becoming my favourite of the season. The premise is similar to the one in "Thoughtcrimes", a 2003 film that actually was a pilot episode of the show that never went ahead: a paramedic Toby Logan (Craig Olejnik) can read your thoughts. He helps to fight crime. This wasn't instantaneous love for me, more of the "Craig Olejnik is pretty I must watch this" phenomena. But slowly the show is catching up with me: it is pretty, it has lovely cast and awesome female characters, it promises interesting backstory developments. It doesn't have boringly silly plots like "The Mentalist" and it doesn't hit any of my annoyance buttons. I like stories about mindreaders.

Reasons to watch The Listener
Reson 1: Craig Olejnik is pretty:

Craig Olejnik is cute:

He was born to wear a cravat. May be he is related to Richard Armitage, for the awesomeness of his profile has no bounds:

Craig Olejnik's eyelashes are long and thoughtful:

He has a great OTP with a no-nonsense female detective (Lisa Marcos)

WHo can rescue anyone any time:

And doesn't believe him:

She is gorgeous:

Also:
1. I love the show's colouring
2. Enis Esmer plays an adorable friend of Toby's
3. Colm Feore plays Toby's suspicious doctor / father figure
In other new, my daughter and I reached the 170 (!!!) episode of Japanese anime "Bleach". I think I have never seen so many episodes of anything.

Re: Life's over
Date: 2009-05-06 05:45 pm (UTC)ha-ha. I promise to write about other things too. For example -I watched "Marley and me". TWICE (it just happened). Many tears were shed.
More seriously, since you're always open to new things, how about learning Korean?
I have been looking for Korean courses, but I couldn't find any that could have been convenient. Plus I have few other ideas - I am contemplating doing Masters degree next year. :D

Date: 2009-05-06 05:57 pm (UTC)I've stopped being surprised about your plans. :) A Master's Degree in what field? Computer Sciences? Or is that an expression about something in general (I'm not very familiar with the specific English ways to acquire knowledge).
Re: Life's over
Date: 2009-05-06 06:06 pm (UTC)Yes, I am thinking of doing Masters in Computers. It is either this or I'll try to go working full-time to pay-off the morgage quickly.
