And it is RED!! It is also tiny, it feels as if I should be able to put it in my pocket, so I hope the dreadful parking in Leeds might get a little better from now on.
My little Peugeot 107:
(the car in the picture is not actully mine, but it looks similar) :

In more news, RL always takes off during the school holiday time. My daughter and I have been doing all things possible together, starting from beading, biking and car-shopping and ending with the re-watch of "Boys Before Flowers".
PS: any suggestions on how to name it are very welcome. Every car needs a name but I haven't found one yet.

Date: 2009-04-09 07:28 am (UTC)Running small errands with the bike should make things even easier. Hope you'll find time to follow through with your plans. It should also be fun to ride the bike during the summer months.

Date: 2009-04-09 08:09 am (UTC)I would imagine. :D Too many cars, too little space. Sometimes I see the fairness of it but on the other hand, the public transport here is quite bad. They should make it better if they want people to use less cars. For example, in Moscow the public transport is much much more efficient. But they still manage to have the biggest traffic jams I have ever seen.
I will eventually realise my biking plans. For some reason I think of you as a bike-rider..

Date: 2009-04-09 11:15 am (UTC)I don't own a car myself but if need be I can use my father's car. Since they live in the same building that usually isn't a problem. But I don't drive very often.
I have thought about using a motor-bike now and then but I really don't want to make special driving licence and I believe with my car licence I'm only allowed to use a very, very small motorbike. Maybe I should look up what I am allowed to drive. And since my hometown is located in a valley, using a real bike unfortunately isn't easy since you'd constantly be sweaty. :)

It is interesting that you think this. One of the things I noticed on a bike that when riding on it you feel really quite chilly, even in a good weather. But of course, I hate the helmets. If I was allowed I would never use it.

Date: 2009-04-09 05:42 pm (UTC)It's been ages since I rode a bike. When I did so it wasn't yet required to wear a helmet. Sad but true, we don't even own a bike anymore.
And yes, it's a very nice feeling while riding the bike, but the sweaty feeling comes afterwards. And depending on where you're going I think that can be a bit difficult. :)

Date: 2009-04-09 09:31 pm (UTC)You made me laugh - I love my parents dearly but I don't think I would have been able to live happily is the same building anymore. But I lived with them until I was 26.
I didn't get the sweaty feelings, but again - the warmest days in Yourkshire and not that .. hot..
