Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on my friends list who celebrates this holiday! From my heart I must say how thankful I am for all of you!!! ** big hugs **

I had a bit of a cold yesterday so I stayed at home and had a chance to finally start the new drama with Hyun Bin, Worlds Within . I have watched 4 episodes and my impression is very underwhelmed . This is such a pity, I adore both main leads but the drama is not my thing at all. "Worlds Within" is a Korean drama trying to be a Western show, with partner swapping and office love stories and fast dialogues, but the problem is that i am not in Korean dramas for this!! I am in for forbidden eternal love! Also "Worlds Within" doesn't do Western show particular well (as "My Sweet city" did), the story so far is not catching. What a pity!!!!!

Still, I was reminded that Hyin Bin is the prettiest man in Korea and I might just have to finish watching "Worlds Within" so that I can just watch how gorgeous he is.

Friday pictures of Hyun Bin, the prettiest man in Korea

Who is pretty even when he palys a mental patient

But who cant smile for the camera to save his life

Also some fashions I disapprove of

PS: "The Painter of the wind" is going to be the death of me.

Well, actually.... it's going to be quadrangle, of sorts - you'll see. ;)

Sigh, when it is a quadrangle I rather prefer that it is formed of two separate couples. But Kdrama seems to be keen on the third wheels that just don't get it.

Recongise Shin Hyuk's male secretary?

WOW! I didn't!!! HE was in MAwang, right? Absolutely different character!!!

Yup, they do - part of the scenery I guess. In this case I like the 'lady third wheel' a lot more than the guy. She's actually a nice lass who just happens to fall for the wrong guy. Anyone carrying a torch for either Ha Eun or Eun Ha is heading for heargbreak.

Total headcase in Mawang and such a sweet, loyal guy here. And the main 'very bad guy' Choi Dong-Chan is the nice ex-cop of Mawang. Quality acting there I'd say.

If I remember correctly, it's in the next episode that the story really gets going. Beware of the draggy bits in the middle though. ;) Hmmm... most Korean dramas should have that warning. Only here it's not quite as draggy as with some. But that's just my opinion. Besides I'm biased, if UTW is in the scene I don't mind, oggling him is always a pleasure. XD

I agree - so far only "The Legend" and "The Painter of the wind" became more interesting in the second half. But both are made from legend/book so that makes sense. But usually the angs kicks in in the second half of a kdarma and I turn to my forward button, even with the best of them.. Oh, the second half of "Goong" was good too.

You can add Mawang to that non-draggy list as well. It's one of those 'avert your eyes a bit and you miss something vital' ones. They use symbolism quite a lot and visual clues. And the story just flows. It sort of grabs you right from the beginning and won't let go before it's all done.

Resurrection did not have as tight a script and some cutting and pruning with the secondary storylines would have done it good. It's a pretty good try though. And the cast did well within the framework given to each. Besieds UTW there were some really marvellous charactrisations.

Yes, definitely Mawang too! I have been always wondering if it was made from a book.

I got to the part where the brothers meet now. Yum! I imagine that YS will die and YG will pretend to play him. YAY! Cold-distant YG to come, pushing he away!!!
