We are going to find Earth, or what?

I have broken into downloads spree and have watched BSG from episode “Scar” to episode “Lay down your burdens part 1”.I could be getting really-really cranky with the Project of Doom and this could be the real cause of disappointment, but I feel almoust that i would like to remove BSG from my interests list. Yes, things are so bad for me ;)...
I apologize so much for the thoughts below as they are not at all constructive, I must, must read past posts about BSG and snap myself out of this.. Some
queenofthorns posts perhaps will explain it all ;)
Update Hee! I had a nice meal and a nap, and thank you
syliasyliasylia for some virtual chocolate èclairs. I think i will definitely watch BSG more. If only for Lee's sake. And in hope of some more Lee/Kara interaction..;)
BAD things:
1) Starbuck. I am in mourning for my once favourite character.. What has happened to Starbuck? I didn’t like how her character was developed from “Scar” to "Lay down your burderns". Her love for Anders (not the character i am interested in), her drinking outbursts, her ability to "get away with murder" didn't do much for me. Kat is definitely a trouble-maker, but she voiced my concerns about Starbuck being responsible at least indirectly for the death of her pilot, BB. He was on his first day and as Greggs put it “out-of-training-scared”, Starback snapped at him and gave him a textbook talk.
And when Starbuck later says something along the lines “Let’s raise our glasses in honour of the lost pilots” and wins her day once again, I find these words largely driven by guilt and hypocritical.. I know that she risks HER live every day, but I would rather she didn’t dare to say BB’s name. Or said sorry instead.
And (now I am totally irrational) – why is she frowning and pouting her lips ALL THE TIME in a strange manner? Why directors making her do it?

2.) What happened to the storylines? Why everything is so unconnected?
3) Abortion storyline was played out really, really badly for me and Roslin looked as she is a different person and not the shrewd politician from “Colonial day”.
4) Earth. From “Scar” to “Downloaded” it was not mentioned ONCE!!!!! Then in “Lay Down your burdens” it seems for me (again, just IMHO), that R.Moore and his crew suddenly remembered – “O, they were going to find Earth! We must do something NOW before Season 2 is over”..
GOOOD things:
1) Lee is lovely, fantastic and everything else. His words “I am also your friend, Kara” after she “spurned” him are just wonderful. He is really a friend everybody wants to have ..And Jaime Bamber really has become a good, good actor. I always loved Lee, but wasn’t sure about Jamie’s acting skills. I think he is coming into his own now .
2) Lee and Dualla look very pretty together for me, and she is lovely and supportive.
3) Love Baltar, Tighs and Roslin’s new secretary

Date: 2006-03-07 10:29 pm (UTC)And (just to jump from one thing to another, sorry) - That thing Lee said to Kara "You are fine with the dead guys, it is live ones you can't deal with" ( or something like this) is fabulous..
**I AGREE TO EVERYTHING YOU SAID in your comment, particular about Saturday**
