I am so SO happy for Coen brothers who reached Oscar success with "No country for old men" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coen brothers are probably my favourite screenwriters/directors of all times as I love every film they made and this doesn't happen for me with too many directors. I even love some of their less successful films like "Ladykillers". Everything they made works well for me, but of course, especially "Fargo". :D

Coen's brothers special is in the soundtracks they use for their films. Our family lurves them - we own CDs and we listen them constantly. Confession : We even know the lyrics to every song as we often sing them in imperfect harmony. And we have our personal favourites!

"O Brother, where art thou?" , soundtrack
I have included few songs from "O brother, where art thou?", just to celebrate! This soundtrack won "Album of the year" in Grammy awards 2002 and was certified as eight times platinum in 2007. It is definitely my favourite soundtrack of all times.

1. Mr. Alexander's favourite song, the main song from the film - "I am a man of constant sorrow" is sang and played there few times by few different artists. The song originally was written by Dick Burnett, a blind fiddler from Kentucky somewhere at the beginning of the 20th century. The version Mr.A likes the most is by "Union Station"'s lead Dan Tyminsky:

Some more family favourites :D )

I'll try to watch "No country for old men" today. I am so much looking forward to this!

PS Oh, I have almost forgotten - I am going to London on Tuesday and Wednesday for another Oracle User Group and will be back on Thursday!
