+ Because I had some things to do this morning and also because I seem to be having a time of “I want to stop and think for a while” , I have taken a day of holidays today. And now I am trying to be having a Thinking Process and plus to it absorbing any positive things I can find.
+ Here is the first positive thing – last year my husband made me some shelves in the kitchen for my collection of the trailing house plants. I am so very proud of the way the plants have been growing (and almost all of them started from the tiny little cuttings) that I have made a picture and here it is:

+ From
queenofthorns recommendation I am watching “The Nine” - an investigation into the characters and destinies of nine people involved in the hostage situation. I have watched episode two yesterday and everything is really getting interesting, involving consequences to the human psychology, Stockholm syndrome, different shades of gray and what else – EEEEEEE! TIM DALY IS HOT! (yes, definitely, QoT!!!) And he has a fabulous OTP with exquisite Kim Raver.
He knows how to wear his gun:

And how to be snarky:

And he wants to fight for the TRUTH:

But above all, he has fabulous green eyes which is totally my thing:

Being annoyed with himself suits him very well too:

And of course he is an OTP of the most exquisite woman:

+ I have watched the first episode of Japanese drama "Tatta Hitotsu no Koi" or "Just one love". It must be just me, but with the abundance of Japanese titles I am watching recently I desperately want to learn some of Japanese. Bad luck is that I am so bad at languages. :) My first thoughts on "Just one love" – I must watch some more. I still can't fully understand/accept the type of beauty that Kame has, but he is very good at acting and the combination of his vulnerability and outward roughness is amazing.
+ I am still dying of love for Korean drama "A love to kill" and Rain/Kang Bokgu. Honestly, last time I felt this involved was no less then two years ago. I just can't think about anything else. I have been listening to the brilliant OST from "A love to kill" almost non-stop. Some more about ALTK that I posted in

Two songs from A Love to Kill soundtrack
The title song, A love to kill. Very beautiful and haunting!!!!!!!!
My favourite song of the moment, tango-like Dream. O my poor heart!! I love this song!!

And he and the DA have to get together in the next episode because I .. just ... yes!
Totally. I love them together. And I loved it when she was going to help him in his investigations, even she better then anyone could understand the cost. She is an awesome lady too - the two of then seem to be keeping it all together better then anyone else.

Date: 2006-10-20 02:55 am (UTC)I lovelovelove Kathryn and Nick - I don't know if you saw the last episode yet. I liked it, but was a little disappointed that there wasn't more of the two of them together (but I can see that she's going to be a little cold to Nick, because she doesn't know WHY he gave up the fight so easily!)

Date: 2006-10-20 08:49 am (UTC)Oh, I am sorry to hear that you still have problems with your arm! But, yeh - screencapping/iconmaking is sooooo involving. I am having urges to screencap everywhere, even in the movie theaters. I am sitting on my seat and then - where is my Alt/F button? :)
I haven't had a chance to see the last episode yet, but I have read your commentary and thought - OK, not enough Nick/Kathryn. It can wait. :) I will watch it over the weekend.
I loved that Nick gave up the fight - it just shows how much he does really care for the rest of the hostages and not just about the search for the truth.
And - EEEEEE! THE ICON! I would love to steal it if I can!

Heeee! You are awesome! I always want a rewind button when I see movies just in cased I missed some dialogue :P
And there is SOME very excellent Nick, by the way (SHOULDER HOLSTER makes a reappearance) and he interacts with some different characters in this episode; just not so much with Kathryn. I watched the pilot again and I got a little swoony when he tells Kathryn that the short hair looks good on her. Hee! I am SO. Predictable.

I think he feels all this guilt - Eva must not have been shot very long before they were rescued, since Jeremy said something like he'd been treating her for three hours, so ... and then she was shot with Nick's gun. He must feel so awful about it. And then I think he really feels very protective of them all, you can see this even at the beginning of the hostage crisis. I LOVE this show.
And - EEEEEE! THE ICON! I would love to steal it if I can!
OF COURSE!!! I'm so glad you like it!

Date: 2006-10-20 07:51 pm (UTC)Yay! I am just off for a walk with the dog and then I am going to watch episode 3. I love when Nick tells Kathryn that her hair looks good. Because she obviously is so freaked out about the hair (and whatever happened with the hair). When Kathryn is cutting her hair you could feel how much it all cost her. And how really her hair WAS important. And then Nick says that her hair look good and everything is right again. ** Swoon too**
And then I think he really feels very protective of them all, you can see this even at the beginning of the hostage crisis.
Yep. This is what I like the best about him - he feels he is responsible for everyone and everybody. You know, like Lee.

Date: 2006-10-21 04:07 am (UTC)You know, I totally hadn't made that connection - that Randall has her cut-off hair in his pocket (eww!) and that this is something very strange and important to her; I was thinking about ... well, how they would shave Frenchwomen's heads who had collaborated with the Germans and how it seemed that Kathryn was somehow punishing herself and clearly something extremely important happened with the hair.
You know, like Lee.
Except much thinner :P

Date: 2006-10-21 10:44 am (UTC)I had long hair once and the moment I cut them I realized what a mistake it was to do this. I just can connect to this moment of Kathryn's very much. Someone cutting a strand of your hair .. ** shrugs **
Except much thinner :P
Not for long, hopefully!

Date: 2006-10-19 07:04 pm (UTC)When decorating, I like choosing interesting colours and paint the walls. I am not overly keen of the wall papers. I think bright colours are so interesting. I am in love with colours :)

Date: 2006-10-19 09:04 pm (UTC)It is called "Chinese Jade" and I think it is very close to the colour you have now in your layout!!!! I don't know why but this fact makes me happy.
That's so cool and it made me smile. :)

Date: 2006-10-20 08:58 am (UTC)My mom used to paint walls in white, I think there were not many options in Russia back then. Now I am like a child in the sweet shop with all these colours.
I don't care for wallpaper either.
I don't care much for general abundance of flowers in the wall-papers. I kind of like things plain. And also wall-papers quickly become less-then-perfect.

I haven't seen "Eyes". TIM DALY! Do you recommend?
Just to finish on the shallow note - just realised (silly me) what I find the most attractive in TD. Cheekbones, of course :)

I am going to check "Bravo Two Zero" - it is probably a first time I hear about this film and Sean Bean is a main lead there. It is like a little present - something new with Sean Bean that I haven't heard about before.
