+ My ironing is not done yet!! How terrible! And tomorrow is the work day already!!! ** Hear tearing **. I must, must finish it today.

+ My Asian drama mania continues. I feel very sleep-deprived again because I was staying very late yesterday and watching "Full House" - Korean drama about complicated relationships of an actor and an Internet writer. First impressions from Full House and pictures I posted in [livejournal.com profile] dorama_chat

+ I was making dorama icons this weekend; I haven't finished them yet, though :(

+ I have watched some of "Jane Eyre". Meep. I am not sure if I like it. Toby Stephens is almost awesome in the scenes where Rochester plays his strange little games with Jane (Oh his smirk!!!) but I feel that this adaptation lacks the passion for me. I don't know if this is "just me" but I have always perceived "Jane Eyre" to be a very passionate tale. For me it holds more passion then "Wuthering Heights". Hmm. I must watch some more, but..

+ I have watched season 2 premiere of Supernatural and it was great! I think this was the first episode in "Supernatural" which really "got me". It is not just supernaturally-attractive Dean, but much more! I don't know how if this going to last or not, but GREAT!!!

+ Season 3 premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" left me with cold feelings. It seemed like anti-climax after the season's 2 finale. And I am not keen on Meredith/Mc Dreamy, never was, sorry!!!! He is a type of guy I don't like in RL and like even less in fiction - he will always make his woman feel guilty about everything he is guilty of and he will never make her happy.

+ I am back to working at the charity shop after the holidays we had in August and I am buying too many books! Honestly - our charity shop is the best place for books!!!

+ I am so tired and in a rush to start making dinner (chicken with white wine sauce :) - I apologise for spelling and grammar!

I am procrastinating just this minute. But my ironing awaits me and calls me. I loved season 2 of GA. My favourite pair Burke/Christine had lovely developments in season 2! Yay!

I think season 2 is just starting in UK too. Not fair. At all. But sometimes we have some good dramas on BBC and get them before US.

And Yay to Colin Farrel on the big screen. I am taking Sasha and her friend to see "Hoodwinked" this weekend, it sounds like a really funny film!!

I always think that one day will come and computers will iron clothes for us :). I am sure!!!

I have parts 1 and 2 of Jane Eyre in my harddrive, but I haven't seen them yet!

I am very interested as to what you think. It could be me and general Asian drama induced lack of sleep.

Dorama icons! LOVELY! I'll be looking forward to them!

The thing is – I was experimenting a bit, using textures and brushes, so it took me so very long. I am not sure about the result too. But I am never sure. :) I find it difficult to make icons from screencaps made from .avi files . I wonder what you think about .avi screencaps.

I loved Superantural's season two premiere! I even cry a lot by the end of it!!! OMG! So much brotherly love and paternal love!!! Not to mention how much that white t-shirt suited Dean! *swoons*

Exactly! I am so captivated by the recent story developments. That Demon is such a powerful figure and totally creeps me out. And Papa Winchester ** sniffs **. Poor actor – he is incredibly good but seems to be dying quite a lot recently :) . And Dean had very heated conversation with Reaper! [livejournal.com profile] baleanoptera told me that there supposed to be a recurring female interest for Dean in season 2. I can’t wait. I keep looking at every female and think – is she IT? (Tell me off please if you didn’t want to hear these spoilers)

episode two... that one rocks!!!

** Find a torrent quickly **

Have a good eveningh dear!!

Have a good evening too!

I use screencaps from avi files very often. They are not as easy to play with as screencaps from dvds because they tend to be very subdued, blurred, weird colors and the like... but I'm very impatient and I don't like having to wait 8 months until I have the dvds to make icons from a particular episode *hee*

EEEEE! I would never tell - your icons are always of the highest quality! I only started doing .avi icons recently and I find it difficult. Especially colour content tends to be not that nice, and even weird sometimes. Stock photography is the most beautiful thing to make the icons from :)

I totally agree, color is quite tricky when it comes to .avi screencaps! Increasing saturation and contrast helps a lot! :)

OMGOMG! You're using an icon from the movie Dear Frankie!!!! I loved that movie, it was so emotive... I cried so much, because when life is hard to good people I suffer a lot, and when finally things start to go smoothly for them I cry of joy!
hee* I'm such a wuss

Thanks for the tips, darling!

And - EEEEEEEEEE! "Dear Frankie" is one of my absolute fan crushes. I liked Gerard Butler in "The Phantom of the Opera", but after I saw him in "Dear Frankie" I am a fanniest of fans. I saw DF about 5 times in the cinema in two weeks. The story also tells so much about modern UK - doesn't it? And Frankie himself is so touching, but at the same time he has that great position where he doesn't ever feel sorry for himself. And G.Butler is so hot. And Frankie has a little girl-friend. And his mum is so sweet and so deserves everything good. EEEEEE! It makes me so very happy that you like it!!!

I have watched season 2 premiere of Supernatural and it was great! I think this was the first episode in "Supernatural" which really "got me".

It was very good wasn't it? In a way it reminded me of "Faith", not just that it dealt with Reapers - but that it discussed some of the larger issues in the show. Like how much they sometimes sacrifice to save others (specifically John's sacrifice here), and where ghost comes from.

The feel of the episode was also a little different, they used silence and muted sound very well - and that help give it that ghostly feel.
The filming from when Sam comes in and drops the coffee cup was also brilliant.

But I'm a little angry at John. I know he wanted to save his son - but making a deal with the big demon? It doesn't sound like a very good idea. And how could he say goodbye to Dean like that, but send Sam out for coffee?

Also this is twice Dean has cheated death - it cannot be good.

My ironing is not done yet!! How terrible!
Gyah - this reminds me! I must wash clothes.:( Autumn has come, and with that plenty of rain. In addition my man works in a Farmers Market type shop, and since this is the big harvest time he has spent the last days out in the rain loading muddy vegetables. Arg...

We have gotten large amounts of delicious apples though - as a free bee, so it's not all bad. ;)

The moment where Sam drops coffee was incredible! And the Reaper was incredibly well-done and looking absolutely real (his real image). He reminded me a little of the Albino guys in Matrix 2. Imagine seeing something like this before dying??? II was also immensely affected by the scene where John made the pact with Demon. The actor who was playing the man possessed by Demon was so effective – looking at him gave me goose bumps. And the eyes!!!

But I'm a little angry at John. I know he wanted to save his son - but making a deal with the big demon? It doesn't sound like a very good idea. And how could he say goodbye to Dean like that, but send Sam out for coffee?

I don’t know if we will understand John’s decision better later. It seems that Demon thought that brothers were no threat for him. I think he could be wrong. I don’t believe that John would have done what he done if didn’t believe that this will help rid of Demon at the end somehow. Obviously Sam’s powers will grow, though his powers are connected to Demon. But, as you say – Dean is cheating death. It could happen that he will be the key figure in the future battle.

We have gotten large amounts of delicious apples though - as a free bee, so it's not all bad. ;)

Aww! Apples! They seem to be a taste of autumn, like you know – oranges are the taste of winter holidays :). The wether still holds nice hear, too nice for the end of October!!
