alexandralWatched Toby Stephens in "Sunset Heights".
The film is very strange and very grim. It takes place in Nothern Ireland after English occupation is over. Two rival gangs reign in the city – “Bollermen” and “Westies”. Toby wears white polo neck and Irish accent. He is a grieving father of the murdered boy. He displays the best acting in the film; the other characters don't have much depth.
From COLM VILLA, DIRECTOR : "Sunset Heights is a mythical allegory about revenge, guilt and redemption"
The film is too dismal and badly acted (apart from Toby, of course) for my liking; though there is a bonus in the form of Toby’s cheekbones and eyelashes. His eye colour seems to be grey in this film….
