Asoka: post 2, icons

Life is still very hectic but Asoka! I am still bubbling about this film. So gorgeous! I have made some icons, very simple as it seems a crime to add anything to the film's beautiful colours..

OK, I didn't like this movie very much (because it kind of focused on the part of Asoka's life that was violent and horrible, instead of what he is actually famous for, which is renouncing violence, becoming a Buddhist and being a great ruler who made peace for his subjects.)

But the icons are gorgeous :) (Psst, it's spelled "Asoka" though!)

I don't often watch Bollywood movies but I used to be a huge fan of them in Russia. Asoka was one of the best for me - good story, interesting characters (and not too much singing). I see your point and I also thought that they could have shown more of Asoka's life after his revelation. It felt as if they cut 30 minutes of the movie. For example, what happened to Asoka and Kaurwaki wasn't clear too. But on the other hand the movie was very anti-war...

(Psst, it's spelled "Asoka" though!)

Oh, yes- and one of the main good points was that Shahrukh Khan is so gorgeous!!!!!
