Life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I only discovered this show yesterday (for which I am eternally grateful to
the_grynne) but it is absolutely the best show for me in this season. My love from the first sight, it is a show that is perfect in many ways: fabulous script and story, music and cinematography to die for and of course - Damien Lewis! It is so great to see someone who can actually act rather than someone who is just deadly pretty for a change (no offence, Brs. Winchester!). And did I tell you that I am particular fond of ginger-haired British actors? But this is really just a cherry on top because this show is goooood and good in a serious way.
I rarely recommend shows that much but I can really recommend this! In fact – I am shamelessly pleading! Oh, good folks on my friends list!!!! Why are you not watching "Life"??? Especially those of you who live in USA as ratings seem to be everything? It is not as if they are bad for this show but as far as I know there is no news of full season yet.
Meet Charlie Crews: A policeman that served 12 years (out of his life sentence) in a high security prison for a crime he didn't commit. He was acquitted at the end, he got a large settlement and his job back but he is set to find out who killed the family of his best friends (the crime he was imprisoned for). He has a larger-than-life personality and seems to attract everyone he meets.

More screencaps of Charlie:

Constance, the attorney that got Charlie acquitted, (played by Brooke Langton) is terribly in love with him. It is difficult to say at the beginning, but I think Charlie returns her feelings. But at the same time he has numerous unresolved issues that include his chosen path of revenge and Constance's husband. Charlie and Constance have wagons of chemistry together.

Dani, Charlie's partner, is one of the reasons to watch this show. She is played by Sarah Shahi who is so amazingly gorgeous (the actress comes from a royal Iranian family! YAY!) that I am wondering why criminals don't confess EVERYTHING every time they see her. And what is even better – I really like her relationship with Charlie which is not a usual Mulder/Scully UST. Even though there is so much that reminds me of Mulder and Scully in this partnership they are just great friends. They "found" each other but found as friends, as two individuals with a very difficult path..
