It was GREAT!

I still have that buzzing feeling I get when something really affected me so I keep going like crazy, making icons and re-thinking it all in my head. It all is quite incoherent yet..

- Because OMPH! Dexter is having a moment of truth, he is flooded with emotions and he doesn't know what to do! And this is making me cry!!!

- The car dealer guy will wind up not being a killer, right?

- Rita is a little annoying with her rehab fication. But I love Rita and the last scene was priceless! Jelaous Rita is a force to be reconed with! And AWWWWW!!!!! Dexter bought her a mini-van!!!

- Super-agent Lundy - Is he a new father figure or a terrible manipulator??

- Mysterios Lila - I like her! I like Jaime Murray ever since "Hustle".

Love the reddish hue, suits Dexter icons.

I've only seen about half of the 1st season of Dexter. There's not enough time to watch everything I want to and have a life too!! Wait, what life? ;P I'll catch up eventually.

Thank you so much, dear!!! I wanted to experiment a little with colour.. "Dexter" is one of the shows I love without any reservations and I must recommend the second part of the season 1 here and it is even better than the first (if this is possible).

On a random note - *is really tempted* to go watch the 1st/2nd episodes of Moonlight since again ran across prettiful icons on your journal. But am being good-I have a paper due on Wednesday so must get to bed. By the way - I still can't BELIEVE that lovely Jason Dohring is on that show - we shall see if he can possibly approach his sheer hotness in Veronica Mars. although you know I'm kind of bummed that they had to give the main character in Moonlight an American accent - I watched an interview with that actor and he has such a lovely sexy New Zealand?I think? accents.

Oh, interesting! I have heard someone else mentioning it. Alex O'Loughlin was born in Sydney.. For me he sounds quite different from the rest of actors on "Moonlight" (and this is one of his greatest appeals :D). I can't put my finger on it but his accent doesn't sound quite American for me and I like it - his Australian accent is coming through.

In my experience it is quite a rare case when an actor can do an accent "to a tee". I am watching Angel at the moment and the fact that Wesley is so clearly doesn't speak with real British accent is a bit confusing.

I love accents too - and I have one too myself.. ;D

He is so much more than meets the eye.There must be some reason why Doakes is the only one who feels Dexter's true nature. I find his interaction with Dexter very interesting. They are in this is almost love/hate relationship.. The last scene between them made me roar with laughter..

I have a feeling that even if Doakes found out that dexter was a killer he wouldnt do anything about it, u know? I think he wants to solve the mystery (kind of sad that he thinks he's solve it...unless he was just trying to trick dexter) but once he solved it he would be satisfied. i dont see him as the kind of guy who would be angry that karma has its way.

its a beautiful relationship and so fun to watch.

I think this sometimes too, but sometimes I think that Doakes would have been just too happy to expose Dexter, but may be not. I wonder what Lundy will do too – I think he is going to find out who Dexter is. He seems to understand people quite well and he also has that "killer" instinct (it is in his eyes). I wonder where they are going with this character.

i get a bad feeling about lundy and its not just because he's hunting dexter (for the series to survive we know dexter has to get away with the crimes...somehow, someway)....lundy gives me the creeps. i feel like he's a live wire. *shrug* i dunno, but i can't wait to watch.

** nods ** It was strange to watch the scene between him and Deborah - on one hand he said the best thing possible and totally got her out of her bad mood but I had a feeling that he is not saying because he is feeling it but because he wants her on his side..

Especially considering the killer is her own brother and the whole hunt is BOUND to fail because the series success is based on Dexter not being caught.

oh yeah im not afraid of dex getting caught....even if he did there would probably be some piece of evidence that gets him off...anyways debs reaction to her brother being a serial killer would be something to watch...

One of the things that doesn't give me rest from the last episode - we didn't see Dexter deleting the video file from the recycle bin, right? It must be still laying there..

The last episode felt really strange - as if Dexter is on a brink of spiraling out of control. Or may be he has already spiraled out of control? I am not sure where the whole thing with Lila is going too..

All of a sudden Deb kisses the FBI dude on the cheek.. where did that come from?

Oh, I could totally see this coming. She has a major crush on him, but a strange one - he seems to be like a father figure for her. It was a brilliant scene when she hugged him naturally as if he was her father and then you could see in her eyes "OH, rats!! What am I doing?". It is interesting where these two are going.
