alexandral: (Rome - Vorenus - Soldier)

Rome: "Heroes of the Republic". Gleeful ramblings! Pictures!!!!!!!!!

I spent the first half of today at the dentist’s (but this is the pre-ultimate visit!!). The second part of today went much, much better in watching and re-watching 17th episode of HBO series “Rome”, “Heroes of the Republic”. I loved this episode in so many ways that I can’t contain my glee and can’t even wait until the icons are ready, I must speak of it!!!

1. The beginning was very good (not counting the false-start of repentant Timon to whom I can’t warm up yet) . But then – YAY! Pullo and Vorenus are back together side-by-side and shoulder-to-shoulder:

2. Cunning Cicero was rather a nice treat too, especially because he has a way of speaking with his hands that I love:

3. But even more, I liked the lovely trio of Octavian/Agrippa/Maecenas. We can see Maecenas a little better in this episode and he is very cute in bohemian sort of way, but strangely reminds me of Mr.Wickham in BBC adaptation of "Pride and prejudice". But of course, Agrippa is my favourite:

4. Eurene’s happiness at the sight of Pullo and her warmth towards the children are so lovely:

5. And Vorenus is bonding with the little boy and I can totally can see how the boy is going to be his father’s favourite. But I try not to think that eventually he is going to grow and learn who his real father was and what happened to him:

6. The scene where Eurene tells Pullo that he "loves Vorenus more then he loves her" was absolutely delightful. I was smiling silly to myself for about 10 minutes. (And after that Agrippa’s scene came along and I had even more reasons to smile). I am so happy for Pullo!! Eurene loves him!!! She is jealous!!! Well, I guess she has a cause too. :D But silly, of course Pullo loves Vorenus, but NOT in THAT way!! Not in the way he loves YOU!!! And he was speaking with her in that special soft and happy voice!!! ** swoons **

7. Atia has picked herself up and is back to being cunning and sharp-tongued!! Though I was a little upset for Octavian in this scene because if your moter has to fake her motherly feelings for you, oh gosh, this is kind of heart-breaking!!

8. But whom Alexandra likes the most! Lucius Vorenus!!! I really respected the way he was so matter-of-factly and open about the things that happened to children because, yes, you can’t hide from your demons. You must face them. But I also loved that he listens to Pullo and discusses things with him and how they are back to being a tight knitted unit together.

9. And Octavian still remembers Pullo. If there was nothing else good about him, I would have loved him for the way he treats Pullo. And wonderful loyal Pullo!! When he was talking about Vorenus he was always referring to him as "my friend" (and I was swooning every time).
I thought that in this scene Octavian looked very much like Caesar (when played by G.Hinds).

10. "Octavian and Senate" scene was absolutely priceless,

and so was Cicero’s expression!!

11. I am not sure about Gaia yet, but I though that the sex scene between her and Vorenus was rather hot. (and I had to re-watch it few times :D)

12. But HERE is Alexandra’s scene of the day: Agrippa declares his feeling in a manner worthy of classical poets:

Maecenas and Agrippa at the orgy. Both cute beyond any measure:

I can’t get over how the actor playing Agrippa can be so teddy-bear cute but also so poetic and also so wonderfully decisive. Here!!! He picks Octavia up from the orgy. And then upon questioning by her mother he declares his feeling and says "I can tear the sky down for you if you ask". I am absolutely in LOVE!! If this goes on any longer, Agrippa is going to become my favourite character in this show.

13. Back to Lucius Vorenus. His head has cleared and he is back to his strategical thinking ways!. I must admit that this is probably one of the things I like so much about him, that he is so smart. Making peace with Memmio and Cotta but at the same time sowing the seeds of war between them is so much of old Vorenus I like!!

14. Though I don’t usually like BEARDS, they seem to grow some special varieties of them in "Rome". First Brutus, now Mark Antony.

15. Gorgeous cap of Agrippa to round the thing up:

[identity profile] queenofthorns.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)
You totally read my mind – I was going to ask you for a cap of Pullo kissing Eirene (man, that scene TOTALLY made me swoon. He loves her SO much – you can see it in his eyes; and I think she really loves him now. And I loved her for being so happy to see the children).

I think Vorenus might be overestimating his children’s ability to move past the death of their mother, enslavement, rape, prostitution etc., JUST a bit. I mean, I know they didn’t have trauma counseling in Ancient Rome, but I am a little worried that he thinks they can just forget all of this and move on just because he says so. (Speaking of recovering from things quickly, Servilia surely bounced back quickly, didn’t she?)

And I fear for Vorenus, because I think he has also made an enemy of Maschius now and his daughter hates him and I just ... Aieeee! I am going to be a nervous wreck for the next five episodes, I think. I am also worried that Pullo telling Eirene she would be first for him is some kind of bad foreshadowing - either of HER death or that he will have to choose between her and Vorenus.

I don’t like Gaia – I think she was the one who was nasty to Eirene while Pullo was gone!

EEEEE! We are going out, so I will be quick, but I will write more later:

I think Vorenus might be overestimating his children’s ability to move past the death of their mother, enslavement, rape, prostitution etc., JUST a bit

I don't know yet, it is difficult to see what he thinks inside, I don't think he thinks things are going to be easy. I liked the way Vorenus speaks about things openly, it is always better on the long run. There is no easy way to deal with this things, and his way is good for me!
I think we are going to see something happening that will help older Vorena forgive him, but it is going to fill me with angst in the meantime.

And I fear for Vorenus, because I think he has also made an enemy of Maschius

But EEEEEE! He totally made Maschius understand what Pullo means to him!!

I am also worried that Pullo telling Eirene she would be first for him is some kind of bad foreshadowing - either of HER death or that he will have to choose between her and Vorenus.

Or your reading my mind!! I meant to write this too, but I am in a rush.. Very very ominous conversation!!

I don't know if Gaia was bad to Eurene. Women have a way of being catty sometimes without meaning it. But I don't like or dislike Gaia yet.

I don't know if Gaia was bad to Eurene. Women have a way of being catty sometimes without meaning it. But I don't like or dislike Gaia yet.

Heh! I'm basing it on one bitchy comment she made to Eirene in an earlier episode. (And this is very unfair to Gaia, because it's not her fault, but I hate that Pullo keeps eyeing her up. He OWES Eirene to be faithful to her, dammit!!) And I don't want Vorenus to love her anyway - I just watched "Kalends of February" again and I loved Niobe so much :(

I liked the way Vorenus speaks about things openly, it is always better on the long run.

I have to watch again, but I have the impression that he feels everything is over once they have that cleansing ceremony, but I wish someone (Vorenus? Pullo?) had said something to the children about how crazy and distraught he was when he thought they were dead. I think this would help them understand that he loves them very much.

I am also amused that they actually have a totally different Vorena Minor in this episode. Pullo was not kidding when he said the slave camp would change the children :P

I remember the comment, but took it with the pinch of salt, like catty woman things. Eurene was not all over the place to here neither. I don’t particular know what to think about Gaia, probably that she is very materialistic and hard-core, but I am not sure yet because we didn’t see much of her. I saw you commenting on Pullo eyeing her before, but I didn’t notice this at all myself. He did look at her, but I definitely thought he was looking at her more in a way “and who is she dressed so scantily” and being a little disapproving then in a way “she is attractive”. I must see more of this, but I honestly think Pullo is safe. :D

And I don't want Vorenus to love her anyway - I just watched "Kalends of February" again and I loved Niobe so much :(

Oh, I don’t want him to love anyone just yet, for the same reason. But scenes of tortured sex involving Vorenus are one of my guilty pleasures, so I guess I could do with more of them. :D

I have to watch again, but I have the impression that he feels everything is over once they have that cleansing ceremony, but I wish someone (Vorenus? Pullo?) had said something to the children about how crazy and distraught he was when he thought they were dead. I think this would help them understand that he loves them very much.

I watched again, and I don’t think he thinks everything is over. He has quite a guilty face when he speaks with children in this episode IMHO. I think he gets to hope at the end and it is so sad that Vorena is really faking it. But as we spoke before, I am full of hope (oh well, there must be angst, but!!)

I think someone SHOULD tell them , and I expected it to be Lyde (or PULLO!! Why are you not speaking to children!! I expected him to bond with little Vorena!). I re-watched the first episode in this season and Vorenus definitely told Lyde that Niobe killed herself. And Lyde is old enough to understand that he didn’t sell them into slavery, but rather was looking for them everywhere. But I think she blames Vorenus for Evander’s death and we should not wait for anything good happening here!

I am also amused that they actually have a totally different Vorena Minor in this episode. Pullo was not kidding when he said the slave camp would change the children :P

They probably thought that under layer of dirt noone noticed that previous Vorena Minor was different :D

PS: And yes, I did go to sleep yesterday!! :D I am doing “The Painted Veil” icons and they are consuming my brain. But it is not so bad, as you know I don’t work Mondays and Tuesdays, so I had a morning nap after I dropped my daughter at school!

Beautiful picspam, as always. Is it March yet?! I haven't even seen Agrippa act and I already want to give him a hug.... Sigh.

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 01:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Woo Hoo! February is very short!!! You are in for such a treat - this season is wonderful!!

[identity profile] trufflehog.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 06:10 pm (UTC)(link)
dude. i LOVED cicero in this episode!

and i can understand why you like agrippa but didn't he meet octavia a little over one episode ago? and he's already declaring his love? don't get me wrong, its cute and sweet, but thats what makes it seem so uncharacteristic of the show XD
(octavia and jocasta at the orgy = so awesome)

i was so happy to see atia being her old self again...even if it was with her own son :>

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 01:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Cicero is so great in this season, I am so glad they are finally showing more what the real Cicero was. But poor Brutus - I am so sad, sad, sad!!

and i can understand why you like agrippa but didn't he meet octavia a little over one episode ago? and he's already declaring his love? don't get me wrong, its cute and sweet, but thats what makes it seem so uncharacteristic of the show

I know what you mean, but I totally feel his character to be so fitting. He is a soldier by heart , "Come, saw, conquered" so to speak!! I think they particular show us that he is this type. And I guess even though he is very hasty, he is probably one of rare few who get Octavia right.

[identity profile] artyartie.livejournal.com 2007-02-16 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
I have to second the Cicero-squeeage this season, which is better than the first season "WTF-isms" I shouted at my television. It's Marcus freaking Cicero - let the man open up a can of rhetorical whoop ass already! I like how you noticed the hands - there's a reason Antony wants to cut them off so badly. I just hope they do him justice this Sunday, that's all.

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-17 12:07 am (UTC)(link)
I just hope they do him justice this Sunday, that's all.

I hope too! I have some very optimistic/some very gloomy thoughts on the possibilities of this episode. Depend on a mood I am in. :D Poor Brutus!!

I loved this episode, but it left me very worried. It's so great to see The Boys back together, and I just loved the way Pullo stuck up for Lucius to Octavian. And Pullo with Eirene = so, so cute. I felt bad that she didn't get his little joke about how he'd save her first 'cuz she weighed less.

But...

I think so many issues and conflicts are being set up. I think Lucius meant well when he announced "My daughter was raped and the boy's not my son, but treat them well." It's fine to lay down the law and make it clear he'll tolerate no disrespect, but I don't think it can exactly have been easy for the kids to hear that or to know everyone must be talking about them. Their reintroduction would have been tough enough even without that. And I think he really pissed off both Gaia and Maschius, so now he's got them to worry about, too. But I still love him. *g*

Also, I think QoT's right and things aren't going to end well for Pullo and Eirene, or Pullo, Eirene and Lucius. ::cries::

So...I loved it, but now I'm all kinds of worried.

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I felt bad that she didn't get his little joke about how he'd save her first 'cuz she weighed less.

But that was so cute!! This is similar to our interaction with my dearest, I never “Get it”. This is why I love it so – so much of real true relationship here!!

It's fine to lay down the law and make it clear he'll tolerate no disrespect, but I don't think it can exactly have been easy for the kids to hear that or to know everyone must be talking about them.

I dunno, It is just me, but I in their situation probably would have preferred this way. He put everything on the right places, telling everyone that he will protect children at whatever cost. Everyone already knew. If I was one of the kids, I would have forever thought what everyone thinks otherwise. But it must be it is not correct to measure everything by your own reaction, sorry!

Their reintroduction would have been tough enough even without that. And I think he really pissed off both Gaia and Maschius, so now he's got them to worry about, too. But I still love him. *g*

Gaia was looking worryingly pissed of during the family feast at the end. But for some reason I expect/predict that she will fall hard for Vorenus. I don’t know why, I just see it.

Also, I think QoT's right and things aren't going to end well for Pullo and Eirene, or Pullo, Eirene and Lucius. ::cries::

I know!!! But may be it is just a joke!!! ** hopes**

[identity profile] bzoppa.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 03:15 am (UTC)(link)
I'm with you on finding Vorenus' bald statement a little too brash for the situation. It reminds me of the times when he is so clueless, like at the slave camp when Pullo worked his way around to bribing the guard and Vorenus was about to walk through him.

Vorenus meant well but again went about it in the wrong way. I'm sure it helped Vorena Major retain her hatred. There was a shot of her face and she was not happy about being introduced that way,—although it's probably the least of her worries.

[identity profile] nutmeg3.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 04:24 am (UTC)(link)
Lucius is such a soldier, very straight-ahead about everything. But I think maybe he never really got a chance to just be a man before he went off to fight, and now he's totally at sea. I just hope it's not his undoing.

Oooo lovely pictures! Thanks for sharing them. I'd been dying to know what bearded Antony looked like! I don't normally like facial hair at all but ummmm I guess certain people can change my mind! *grin*

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Bearded MArk Antony looks very attractive!!

They have a good way with Beards in "Rome". I though Brutus looked rather good with the beard too!

[identity profile] elspethsheir.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Pictures! Huzzah! These are all wonderful.

I think that Vorenus was also putting to rest rumours right away when he told all assembled about his children. It felt a bit like "this is the way it is, and I will know if any of you behave inappropriately, and I will get all Son of Hades again on your ass if you do". Only perhaps more crudely!

I would dearly like to see some Agrippa/Octavia happiness. Or I will have to make it up in my head!

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:12 pm (UTC)(link)
EEEEEEEEE! Thank you!

I would dearly like to see some Agrippa/Octavia happiness. Or I will have to make it up in my head!

I guess we are in for much angst and Octavian (or Atia) is about to ship Octavia to Mark Antony. But I think I will enjoy doomed romance too. I was so so happy because Ocatvia is warming up to Agrippa (and who would not!). but I want a time machi to go and change the history!

[identity profile] ghada-bell.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 07:03 pm (UTC)(link)
I love you commentary Alexandra. I will try to read it every week since now. I did like this episode too by I should say same aspects of it bothered me a bit. A bunch of scenes seemed strangely too modern for me. For instance, the scene where Vorenus tells his children that he is busy but planing to spend with them some time in the country. Touching but somehow irrealistic. The one with Agrippa and Maecenas at the orgy. It looks as if they were too naughty students in a night club, with Agrippa as the one who feels incomfortable wants to go. And yeah, the way Octavia speaks to Octavian and him nearly not reacting. That wasn't really roman, if you see what I mean.
But the "Get away from my chair" was by itself a moment worth the whole episode. YI !

Thank you!!!!!!!

This is an interesting point, I definitely agree with you on this, and I thought the same. But I guiess I like Rome so much that these little imperfections don’t matter to me. :D

But the "Get away from my chair" was by itself a moment worth the whole episode.

Absolutely!!!!!

First YAY for Agrippa! He was so wonderful in this episode - both with the carrying of Octavia, and the again having to confess his love under rather embarrassing circumstances. I only hope that Octavia starts to take some notice of him.
(And Atia looked rather amused by his whole performance) I also liked that he ended the thing by telling Atia to behave or he would get angry. It didn't sound threatening, but something tells me that Agrippa being angry is something you would wish to avoid.

I also loved him and Maecenas - they appeared as such very young boys - and I rather liked that.

Then the next great thing about this episode: Pullo and Eirene! I actually shouted YES! when they kissed. I'm now such a Pullo/Eirene shipper its not even funny. But her making him swear to place her first and to save her had a rather ominous undertone. I'm fearing things will end in tragedy.

But for now? Yay! And Marc Antony in furs and with a beard was strangely hot.

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)

Oh, I think she fell hard for him at the moment when he said that “she is so good and has a full heart”, she had a really priceless expression, like her heart was melting. And whose would not!!! This almost stranger seems to understand her better then anyone else in the world!

But I guess we are in for much angst because she is about to be married to Mark Antony. I want a time machine!!! I want to change the history!!

I also liked that he ended the thing by telling Atia to behave or he would get angry. It didn't sound threatening, but something tells me that Agrippa being angry is something you would wish to avoid.

We totally get the glimpses of what he is like on battlefield when trio speaks to Cicero. I think he is definety a dangerous man.

I also loved him and Maecenas - they appeared as such very young boys - and I rather liked that.

The trio of friends – they almost as dear to me as Pullo and Vorenus. (sorry dear Pullo and Vorenus, but I have a big heart!)

I really like them together too, Pullo deserves it!!! And I hope that the joke will be just a joke!

And Marc Antony in furs and with a beard was strangely hot.

I agree! Very very strange. With this crazy Shepard type of beard too!

she had a really priceless expression, like her heart was melting.

Oh I hope so!! For even if she ends up with Marc Antony (sob!)I hope she could have some happiness first. And I think she and Agrippa would get along splendidly. I'm starting to suspect the main problem is Octavia's sense of self worth (or lack thereof).
Remember how she again and again says he doesn't know her? Even if this is slightly true, I get the feeling that what she is saying is really "Oh, you think I'm so fantastic now - but wait until you know me better, and then you'll see how useless and hopeless I am". This is after all the girl how sat cutting herself in the temple and who spent large amounts of S1 being depressed. This season she takes a lot of drugs and sleeps. I suspect Octavia cannot believe that anyone could love her.

So I guess it's a good thing Agrippa is so open with his emotion.

Now it could be said that Agrippa is perhaps a little bit dramatic in declaring his love (tear down the sky? Hee), but I just love that he is so certain of his feelings. And I don't think it is a crush either - I think he really feels that deeply and passionately. In the same vein I liked that he doesn't hesitate before carrying her of. He sees her, lifts her up and goes. *g*

The odd thing is that I wasn't expecting the Agrippa/Octavia storyline at all - so it came as a huge surprise and because of that I might be loving it even more.

The trio of friends – they almost as dear to me as Pullo and Vorenus.

Hee! Pullo and Vorenus will always come first - but I love the trio! More trio business! And I adored Maecenas and Agrippa at the party. Such a great scene.

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 04:36 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm starting to suspect the main problem is Octavia's sense of self worth (or lack thereof). Remember how she again and again says he doesn't know her?

Oh, I was thinking just the same, she is always in the shadows of her brother and mother. And the story with Servillia could not burst anyone’s self-confidence. Octavia is really becoming my favourite female character in this show. I like Eurene to bits, but I find that I engage emotionally with more complex/tortured characters. I really liked Niobe in the season 1, and I quite liked Servillia up to a point (of Octavia’s story). I love Eurene as the good thing that happened to Pullo, though!

But what can raise your self-worth as a passionate love on a young man? And I absolutely "dig" his passionate phrases , it is just so endearing.

And I don't think it is a crush either - I think he really feels that deeply and passionately.

I think this just shows what a man he is – he has insight into people’s hearts and is fantastically decisive. OMPH! I like him!! I like him!!

Hee! Pullo and Vorenus will always come first

I hope for some happier, adventuring type of stories about Pullo and Vorenus. I can only stand so much of heart-break. :P

[identity profile] baleanoptera.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
And the story with Servillia could not burst anyone’s self-confidence.

Not only that but there was the whole thing with her mother killing her first husband, and pushing her to bed with Pompey. I can understand why experiences like that would damage her sense of self. I feel a pre-season one, unmarried Octavia would have fallen for Agrippa in an instance - but now she is so scarred and scared that she doesn't dare try.

And Octavia is one of my favourite female characters too. She wasn't instantly likeable for me, but now I'm liking her more and more for each episode.

But what can raise your self-worth as a passionate love on a young man?

Hee! Exactly! And one who also rescues you from an orgy - and doesn't really want to take the credit for it. (he does after all try to sneak away so that it will look like she got home by herself)

OMPH! I like him!! I like him!!

Hee! I know! *hugs Agrippa*

- and historically he was actually of a lower class than her. I don't know if that will come into play, but it might. For some reason I feel that kind of adds to the romance.

I can only stand so much of heart-break. :P

I know, but sadly I expect more heartbreak to come. Unless Vorenus's children stop hating him there is a tragedy waiting to happen right there. *whimper* I'm worried. :(

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-14 05:28 pm (UTC)(link)

I am so with you on this – I am a terrible spoiler junkie, but I definitely feel that when things happen unexpectedly it adds to the viewing pleasure. :D

Unless Vorenus's children stop hating him there is a tragedy waiting to happen right there. *whimper* I'm worried. :(

My prediction would be that there will be some terrible angsty situation through which they will find out how much he loves them .Or someone will tell her, and not in a way Lyde told her. Pullo!!! You need to step in and talk with children!! I think it is quite unfair that they think that Vorenus killed their mother and sold them to slavery.

Or at least I hope Vorenus will rescue older Vorena or something. I think she is in a way the “ring leader” among them and the younger children’s hate for Vorenus is much more multiplied by what they hear from her. I could be wrong, but in my experience children of that age forgive and forget much quicker..

The best part whas all Octavia/Octavian scene, where they talked each other, eating and joking (for the very first part) and then she reminds how everyone in the family loves him...and then her "I love you". They're amazing together.
Also, i loved the Senate scene too. He was very focused about what he was saying. :)

[identity profile] alexandral.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 02:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I love Octavia and Octavian together, I am so glad they went beyond the things that happened in the season 1. Octavia is probably the only person who loves Octavian wholeheartedly . ** sigh **

[identity profile] aerynsunx.livejournal.com 2007-02-12 10:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Lovely piccies. I wish you could have gotten one of the look Atia has on her face after she embraces Octavian. It's priceless cunning on her part. "Oh forgive me my dear, dear son." Classic Atia.

And I am loving THE TRIO. They are The Police of their day (Octavian as Sting). They are Byron, Shelley and Keats. Insert Coleridge, if you prefer, for Keats. And Maecenas is adorable. Ambitious and crafty, for sure. And yet so adorable, he could've been a Beatle. *snerk* And the way Agrippa fell so deeply in love with Octavia on first sight. swoon She had him at "hello". But I'm starting to crush on Octavian. Call me nutz, but I'm loving his ruthlessness. I'm loving the fact I have a clear-headed Lucius back. And Antony was too hot for words. Something about James Purefoy...*shakes head mystified at his powers of attraction*

I am not sure about Gaia yet, but I though that the sex scene between her and Vorenus was rather hot. (and I had to re-watch it few times :D)

I'm not ashamed to admit that I did to. ;)

The scene where Eurene tells Pullo that he "loves Vorenus more then he loves he"” was absolutely delightful.

He loves her so much! How funny is it she's jealous of Vorenus? I love Eirene to pieces. But deep down she still has to wonder. Hee! Who knows what fools errand Lucius and Pullo will go off on next.

And I am loving THE TRIO. They are The Police of their day (Octavian as Sting). They are Byron, Shelley and Keats. Insert Coleridge, if you prefer, for Keats. And Maecenas is adorable. Ambitious and crafty, for sure.

Oh, love these comparisons. I am totally going to use them (and credit you) if this is fine!!!

And the way Agrippa fell so deeply in love with Octavia on first sight. swoon She had him at "hello". But I'm starting to crush on Octavian. Call me nutz, but I'm loving his ruthlessness.

Oh, no! I am crushing on Octavian ever since he was a young boy too smart for words. I adore his arrogance and ruthlessness!

And Antony was too hot for words. Something about James Purefoy...*shakes head mystified at his powers of attraction*

He is so suave!!!

I'm not ashamed to admit that I did to. ;)

** bonds with you on this ** I don’t want for Lucius to fall in love with her or anything, but please some more of this!!

Who knows what fools errand Lucius and Pullo will go off on next.

Sure. Very very ominous!!

Oh, sure. Go right ahead. I'm loving my TRIO. I'm wondering now about the relationship between Agrippa and Octavian when, as we expect, Octavian proposes a marriage between Antony and Octavia. I think we'll see what Agrippa's like when he gets angry.

Yup. We're seeing :eyetoeye: on that point! :)

Again, :eyetoeye: on this. Hee!

EEEEE! Thank you!

I'm wondering now about the relationship between Agrippa and Octavian when, as we expect, Octavian proposes a marriage between Antony and Octavia. I think we'll see what Agrippa's like when he gets angry.

I am sort dreading this (and I want to see what he is like when he is angry :D). I think Agrippa's heart is about to be broken and he will change and we will never see the old Agrippa again, but some stone cold kind. They obviously will not split with Octavian (I don't know much about the history, but I think that was the case? Please tell me if I am wrong.)

But on the other hand, forbidden romance between him and Octavia? I can like this!!

I sort of watched all the episodes of series one in a rush so I get to series two! So I wondered, do Vorenus' children believe he actually killed Niobe? I don't trust his eldest daughter at all, but I suppose I'm not meant to.

Nice pics, but not enough of Octavian! XD!

I am so glad you like the pisctures. Octavian is great! (More of him hnext time!!!)

So I wondered, do Vorenus' children believe he actually killed Niobe? I don't trust his eldest daughter at all, but I suppose I'm not meant to.

I think they think he killed Niobe and sold them to slavery. I expected Lyde to explain the truth to them, but I guess she doesn't like Vorenus very much. Or I wish Pullo spoke with children quietly and explained how sad their father was and how he was looking for them everywhere.

I am an optimist - I expect for Vorenus to reconcile with the older Vorena soon!

[identity profile] ex-vivere116.livejournal.com 2007-02-13 09:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm afraid that even if Lyde or Pullo try to explain things it will just fall on deaf ears. After all, Vorenus openly cursed them. :/ But I do still hope things end happily; I couldn't bear watching 'Vorenus - son of Hades' again, LOL!

Oh, that episode almost killed me! I am ready for Pullo and Vorenus to have some adventures, like in season 1. Make a corpse raft or two. :D
