Meteor Garden F4 : Pictures

I am still wallowing in "Hana Yori Dango" glee, but I can't recommend the Taiwanese version, "Meteor Garden", well enough. It is a classic among doramas and it is classic for a reason - because it is pure fan and lovely eye-candy and Vanness and Ken and Vic and Jerry. I think the manga itself has an absolutely winning idea of that fantastic friendship of four guys. For me, "Meteor Garden" would not be the same if it was just about DMS and Shancai and didn't have stronger-then-life friedship unit of F4. In a way this is what is special in "Rome" for me, THE FRIENDSHIP.

Thank you for the picspam. Jerry Yan is HOT! I was so crazy about him at one stage (back in uni days, LOL), my friend even bought me a fan with his picture on it :D

Have you watched Meteor Garden 2? If not, you're not missing out on much. It was so boring and slow for me >_> NOT recommended.

"Meteor Garden" is definitely among my first 5, and Jerry Yan is a living definition of HOT. I confess I have a huge fictional crush on DMS.

I haven't seen "Meteor Garden 2" as I haven't heard anything good about it. :D But I have enjoyed some of "Meteor Rain". Ken's story was lovely.

Jerry is definitely the prettiest of them all. I like Ken Zhu very much too - he is playing Xi Men (MG version of Sojiro). His voice is alone so very swoon-worthy. His and Xiao You's story (version of Yuki) is my ever favourite secondary OTP of all times. Seriously, you can watch "Meteor Garden" just for two of them.

I am not sure about conflicting plots - everything I seen so far in HYD 2 is somewhere in the middle of MG. Apart of the Rui/Shizuka's story which seems to be developed a little more.

Seriously, you can watch "Meteor Garden" just for two of them. That sounds really interesting! You're making me really curious! :)

I am not sure about conflicting plots - everything I seen so far in HYD 2 is somewhere in the middle of MG. Maybe I should just wait out to be on safe side :) I'm spoiler chicken. I definitely want to be surprised by what HYD throws at me. ^_^

It actually only 8 minutes left - my connection is very good and for good torrents it usually gives a good result. No such luck with "Loveholic" though, very slow. :D

I quite enjoyed watching "The snow queen" in a less spoilery mode, though I HAD to know the ending. :D That's good! I think the only time I've known the ending was ALTK. I don't think it changed my enjoyment since really can't see a happy ending from the start.

Your torrent connection is amazing! I'm very jealous. Torrents for me tend to be very slow unless it's something very new. Oh I've found Loveholic at jdramas: http://community.livejournal.com/jdramas/tag/loveholic I've only dl episode 1 and the quality is not as good as usual 700mb HD tv files. I just check it's 212 mb, no wonder. But if you want to see it right away it's not too bad. :)

The funny thing is that DMS had that "my hair don't stay down" thing at first , but somewhere in the middle the hair decided to stay down all over sudden. (And OMPH! I was thankful for that!!)

Thank you for the picspam. I guess my problem with MG has always been the fact that I've always been more interested in Lei and Shi Men than on DMS's story :P. It's angsty and good, but it somehow lost me along the way :P.

I understand this very well - the likes are purely subjective and I would never liked MD as much as I do if I didn't think very highly of Jerry. :D But HYD is largely about Oguri Shun for me, even though I like Jun. :D
