Top 7 fictional boyfriends!!! In pictures!!!

I was targeted by sweet [livejournal.com profile] nutmeg3. (But I must say I did enjoy putting all this together greatly). No particular order! I have a BIG heart and it was difficult enough to restrict myself to 7, so I have gone over-board with this including 8. And some of the runner-ups are very worthy too, like Lee Adama, latest Bond or Mr. Darcy!!

Some of the pictures are big!!!! They break my layout, but I am not so worried because it is for the good cause.

1. Mulder, X-files. Puppy eyes, dorky genius. Wears tailored suits and has a dead-pan sense of humor. Partner to fabulous Dana Scully.

2. Neo, Matrix. Geeky programmer turned cool martial arts artist and the Saviour of the world. Black leather, guns, shades and obscure conversations.

3. Lucius Vorenus, Rome. Centurion with principles and blue eyes. Best friend of inimitable Titus Pullo. Intense. Wears togas and sandals.

4. Sandor Clegane, A Song of Ice and fire. Angry, cruel and disfigured in infancy, but with a hope for redemption. Honest and brutal. Favourite horse - Stranger.

5. Mr. Thornton, North and South. *** swoon ***

6.Kang Bok-ku, A love to kill. Wears the weight of the world on his shoulders. Tortured and full of angst.

7. Erast Fandorin, Erast Fandorin mysteries by Boris Akunin (Link). Russian detective. Genius but unlicky in love. As cool as ice. Dry sense of humour.

Erast Fandorin as portrayed by Oleg Menshikov:

8. Detective Nick Cavanaugh, The Nine. Green eyes.

How come I didn't know you were an X-Files/David Duchovny fan? I was obsessed with the show for quite a while. :)

EEE! I am so glad this is something else we share an interest in. I was also completely obsessed during first 5 seasons (and I started watching it in Russia). The latest seasons are much weaker, but I loved X-files so much that I finished watching all of them. I even own all nine seasons :D.

And Mulder/Scully is my favourite OTP of all times. And also I love the atmosphere and cinematography. And the fact that "Truth is out there"

Ditto on all that! Mulder and Scully were always my favorite ship. :)

I watched up until about the middle of season 7 or 9. I tried to convince myself that Mulder leaving was no big deal, but it really was a big deal. I don't have all the seasons. I have a few of them but they are on VHS tape, somewhere around here. I have lots of memorabilia...the Barbie Dolls, cards, books, magazines. I have some drawings that online friends did and sent to me. Everything is packed away in a plastic container in the closet in my office.

The X-Files is the TV show that made me want to get online and find other people who liked the show. My very first online chat group was on AOL. And I was also a meber of an AOL listcalled "The X-Girls and DD". And I still have a Yahoo Group called "The X-Girls". There are only about ten of us on there now but we've known each other since about the first or second season of the X-Files.

Fun! :)

I have all seasons on tape (I bought them very cheaply when the tapes started to be outdated), and the first 3 seasons on DVD. I wnat to but all seasons on DvD, though. They are not that expensive now.

I saw first episodes in Russia AGES ago and I remember thinking how much I love this.

The X-Files is the TV show that made me want to get online and find other people who liked the show.

In a way X-files was the way on-line for me too. I was re-watching all the seasons 2 years ago and you know, I got again that craving for more Mulder/Scully. So I thouht - I will check up the Internet for transcripts and such. I didn't know that fanfiction existed back then. ** laughs **

When I was looking for transcripts, I stumbled upon fanfiction. I must say - it was a shock!! It seemed to be such a strange concept that someone would be writing stories about something what didn't happen. But slowly , I started to like it. It was like THE MISSING PIECE!

So when "Battlestar Galactica" came along, I was ready and went to look for fanfiction again. This is how I found [livejournal.com profile] beyond_insane and [livejournal.com profile] captainapollo. I realised that these were "journals" and that one can comment in them. Because I wanted to comment on fanfiction and Qot's Leecaps I got myself an account. It is funny how much more LJ became for me!!
