Sean Bean as Evil Lovelace

O, i need some help from the friends list.. I am in minimalist mood and made some "Clarissa" icons with Sean Bean as Evil Lovelace (i guess i am still in Sean Bean mood). I need to know if they are any good, but HONESTLY! I am just starting with minimalism.

Criticise it without pity, please!

The first three are the ones I like the most, but I had to chose just one it would be the second! I love minimalist icons :)

I like them all, but I prefer the first three because the images are more interesting (2 & 3 are wonderful). For my tastes, I prefer much sharper images (mostly regarding the first 3). However, I'm very fussy that way. :)

I've never given constructive crit for icons before, so I hope that is helpful.

Hmm, I really like the borders, they emphasize the brightness and the white color in the pics. I'm impartial to the first one, but that's my sword obsession. I also like no.2, 3 and 6. And I like the crop on no.4.

I also know nothing about how to make an icon just how to use one :) I think they're lovely but like winterspel I tend to prefer sharper images with deeper colours although I suspect that's the original 'Clarissa' colouring.

I like number 2 in particular.

These are great- Lovelace doesn't get enough attention- I think he's wonderful! As are these icons of yours.
Especially 2,3, and 6. I love the contrast in these, and the mood of them. I am pinching with grateful thanks, and will- of course! - credit when used.

Lovelace is shamefully neglected in iconage. I especially love #2 and 3; snagging these with credit and thanks, for there's no such thing as Too Many Sean Bean icons!

I have a thing for the deep voices - and Leonard Cohen is a finest example. I like his poetry a great deal too. Alexandra is my daughter's name and I often use it for the usernames, but then of course there is this song which is wonderful IMHO; and even though RL Alexandra is only a little girl- the fact that her name is used in the song somehow adds to the magic for me..

I mean that I like the name Alexandra very much, I use it often for usernames as something easy to remember. "Alexandra Leaving" song doesn't have anything to do with RL Alexandra, but when i couldn't use username alexandra because somebody already taken it, this song sprang to mind and I added "l". (Very convoluted explanation, sorry!)
