The Game of Thrones: episodes 6 and 7.
I am in a middle of a massive icon spree (on which I am spending all my non-working time), so I have to be really really short:
The episodes were really good. We are through 70% of this season! I LOVE Tyrion and I LOVE Bronn. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Jaime is also my poor darling.

Cersei is continuing to be shown as a poor misunderstood woman who loves her children and loved Robert and now even allows him to hit her, when her man Jaime is not there to protect her (I know the hitting scene was in the book, but the accents the show placed are the show's). I have seen few comments from folk who think that this Cersei makes much less misogynistic representation of a woman than the book's Cersei, but for me it is the other way around. The book Cersei needed no one and loved no one, but herself and Jaime (as a mirror of herself). And she loved her kids as a mirror of herself as well. She was a younger copy of Lord Tywin. And isn't Lord Tywin so so awesome? He is probably my favourite casting in the show, and he is definitely my favourite evil character, I just can't help but admire his intelligence (even when it is evil) and his cool .
One last note: This show definitely has a thing about whores and brothels.

Just finished episode 7 and Gosh loving Tywin and Littlefinger so much. They are both such terrible persons. It's insane.
Episode 6 was flawless and I love episode 7 but I found the scene with the whores a bit unsettling. I loved Baelish speech because how enlightning was it right? And the way he's modelling the girls is going to come back with Sansa later. But the all sex noises were a bit too much this time. Oh HBO.... you never learn to stop sometimes ^^.
Osha was also brilliant. Very different from the books obviously but still awesome. Her scene with Theon was incredibly good. Evertyhing that is symbolic of those two characters came right there.Few words. Big impact.
I can't believe there's only two episodes left. I don't want to quit it :-(.

When Cercei was ranting against sick-in-bed-Ned for the first time I've recognized the Cersei from the books. But I have the feeling they are going to keep on showing her vulnerable side..
ps: Episode 7 has already been aired? I've only found the 6...

Ahhh, Tywin - bullying your kids is never a good solution to anything.
For the first time I also really liked Sansa. I've been sort of apprehensive about her, but I think the scene between her and the Septa and then her and Joffrey were really good. Poor Sansa. It's so hard to watch, knowing what is to come.
On the whole I agree that these episodes were really good, and they've seem to have the pacing and editing better under control than in the first few episodes.
This show definitely has a thing about whores and brothels.
Groan. Oh yes. I could have done without the sex scene and Baelish talking. Less is more HBO!
(btw. My money is on the whore Ros as replacing Shae in the narrative. They've built up her character for a reason.)

I've also read some grumbling about Sansa and the smartass way she talks to Septa Mordane. I can also understand why they are doing this. Because we can't get into the character's heads they have to go about making Sansa seem snotty and diva-ish in a different way. This way when the audience starts to dislike her and dismiss her as a spoiled brat what happens later will have more impact.
Joffrey was so convincing when he talked to Sansa and gave her the gift and made all those "seemingly" heart felt promises. Who knew he was such a convincing actor.
All this is to build the viewers up for a shock. So I say wait till all the events of the entire season unfold. I have a feeling we won't be disappointed. :)
I'm not watching next Sunday's episode early. This way I have something to look forward to. ;)
