Back from Scotland and watching the second episodes of Game of Thrones!

- I like Dothraki grass. It reminds me of Russian steppes

- Days and days in a saddle for Dany: this must have been so hard. I only spent 10 hours on a coach coming there and back from Scotland and still managed to get terrible travel sickness.
- Doggies and Tyrion! This is what I call a good scene. To add to the goodness, Tyrion is giving slaps to Joffrey. I always loved Tyrion. Whoever cast prince Joffrey was a genius. The boy is so pretty and so creepy at the same time.
- We get a first good look of Sandor. He is much older than he is supposed to be in the books (and so is everyone) , but I think I am going to like him. He is incredibly tall and definitely does that strange combination of menacing, soft, gloomy and unsure of himself really well. And I like his conversations with Tyrion. But then again, I like Tyrion's conversations with anyone.

- Jaime is full of self-contempt and remorse (or so it seems) : he looks exhausted.
- Cersei: go away from Catelyn and Bran, you lying woman! Catelyn: your pain is great and vast as snow.
- Jaime and Jon: Jaime is so good looking. My shallow side is practically screaming at this point. But Jon looks like he suffered a blow to his head when he was young.

- Please close your mouth at least half of the time, Jon. My mother used to say to me "close your mouth or a fly might fly in". It just might.

- Numeria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, i think Numeria and Lady are played by the same dog. And may be Summer as well. Summer has a different coloring, but this might be paint.

- Jon and Arya are adorable together. He looks much better when he smiles (with his mouth closed).

- The sound is much better in this episode, they are using some beautiful melody as background music.
- Gorgeous landscapes:

- Summer-the-direwolf. I love you:

- I also love near-the-Wall scenes.

- Ben Stark is fantastic:

- Oh my poor heart:

- I am so glad that the relationship between Sansa and Sandor is not lost in translation from the book to the TV series. The connection between them is introduced pretty early which makes me so pleased! And by the way, I like Rory McCann's voice.

- A happy screencap with Lady-the-wolf. She is so adorable. She has always been my favourite direwolf:

- Oh noooooooooo! I guess every episode is going to end with some terrible events? Arya!!!!! Kill Joffrey!! Kill him now!!!!!!!!! I hate him! Cersei!!!!!!! I hate you!!!!! Poor sweet Lady has to be killed ???? Why?????? I must say, many bad things happen in the books to good people, but the death of Lady is one of saddest moments for me personally. What has she done to deserve this? I couldn't even watch it, I cried so much. I have been dreading this scene from the beginning. One good thing is that this is over now.
Overall, I think I am over the first impressions gap, and loving the show . The last scene in this episode was incredibly powerful. But this episode was still a bit slow which is strange considering that the book is so huge and there is so much material to use.
