I feel like a terrible LJ traitor, but I doubt that I will be able to post more than once a week during the next couple of month. I must try to stick to "at least once a week". I must. RL has swallowed me whole, by means of preparing for PHP certification exam, work , family and books. In even sadder news, I don't seem to find any Korean drama love, not even tiny piece. I feel sort of bereft and at the same time something always stops me just when I tell to myself "I must watch Korean drama. Everyone likes Sungkyunkwan Scandal".

I have watched few Western shows, in particular I finished the season 2 of "Sons of Anarchy". I still love the show after the end of the second season as much as I loved it after the first episode. "Sons of Anarchy" is not like any other show I have seen, but at the same time I would understand why it might be someone's cup of tea and simultaneously it might be not everyone's cup of tea.

"Sons of anarchy" are for you if you like:

- Women-centric TV. There are several strong female characters in SoA of strength that I have never seen on TV. They are the power and they are the drive of the story. Female matriarch Gemma is the lady I want to be.

- Motorbikes

- Cigars

- Black leather

- Tattoos

- Charlie Hunnam (all scruffy tattooed)

- TV shows that make you think

But "Sons of anarchy" is not for you if you don't like:

- Violence and blood in your TV.

I have found some really nice black and white promotional pictures made for the season 3. I love them, they give the exact feel of the show, with all it's over the top-ness and beauty:

Yeah! :D

@ SoA
I watched the pilot, but kind of forgot about it. And now I have no time for it. But I liked what I saw.

@ KDramas
I think that's perfectly normal not being in the mood for something even if you usually love it.

It's good to see you whenever you can get here. And I've been thinking of you and Sasha lately, because we have a new Siberian tiger, mother of three cubs, named...Miss Sasha!

*hugs* I miss you, and I hope that even if it's busy, things are going well!

I am still loving Terriers SO MUCH.

At least you have a life, unlike some of us. *wry* I've missed you though....

The tv slump happens to most of us in one form or other. There was a spell I didn't watch western TV at all. Just didn't feel any interest what so ever. I think it was Being Human that finally got me back on the horse again. :)

On the drama front Sungkyunkwan Scandal owns me. It's become an obsession to top all the others, ha. I'm still agog as I was not expecting it.

Jemma, Tig, and Clay are my favorite characters. Also, the Sheriff whose name escapes me - he played Charlie in Deadwood. Actually, there's a fair amount of Deadwood actors on this show and that's never a bad thing. Did you watch Deadwood?

Season 3 SOA hasn't been as great for me but I have faith in the writers that something big is coming up. As long as Jemma's around, I'll watch. Seeing that Katey Sagal is the writer's wife, I suspect she won't be going anywhere soon. :)

SOA needs more love! :D
I think many may be pushed back by the show because it revolves around motorcycles etc. But it's not just about that. It's a well well written drama. Season 2 especially I think was so intense. I'm also liking the new season so far.

SoA is so good, and I agree completely about Gemma. Her character is clearly my favourite on the show, though I think they do a wonderful job with all the characters.

And good luck with the exam!
