At the moment, I am watching and loving one of Hyun Bin's old dramas, "Worlds Within". The charm of the drama is hard to express in words because it is like no other Kdrama I have seen. It had abysmal ratings in Korea and I wonder what Korean viewers thought of it. To me, the drama translates breezy and soothing feeling of beauty of life found in small details that can be insignificant to one but can make other person feel happy for no apparent reason. This is such a feel-good drama, and something for every age as well.

IT doesn't hurt , of course, that "Worlds Within" also has Hyun Bin, the prettiest man in Korea and a great actor as well. I can across some recent photographs of him:

Have you warmed up to Joon Young yet?

After the first few eps, I am fine with her. But I don't think she will ever be my favourite character, she seems so self-centered. You see, I think I can do with "bad" characters when they have a heart of gold. But when it is really the heart that is the main problem - I am not sure. I think we'll see her growing, but I am not sure how far this will go.

The last one is my fave too. :D

I don't mind her selfishness as much but what annoys me is how disrespectful she can be to her superiors/coworkers. That's just a trait I hate in any character/real person. She really annoyed me in the ep when they were in Singapore and she made the cameraman (?) shoot that one scene over and over again without saying please or thank you and just acting so thoughtlessly. And the way she speaks and acts towards the actress is just so rude. That's my biggest problem with her. Like saying please and thank you should be common courtesy y'know? But I am glad we are seeing her learn and grow up though. That's my fave too :)

EEEE! Exactly, you have problems with exactly same scene I do. - I think this is what I mean by selfishness, she just doesn't seem to really see other people, and it comes from the inside. This kind of thing, I think, is hard to eradicate even in a child, let alone adult. In a way, the older actress is the softer version of Joon Young, and this is why Joon Young has problems with her, I think

Yes exactly! And I do like the fact that the writer and other characters bring up her thoughtlessness a lot and then JY sort of gets it tries to be more caring. She's definitely not my favourite character but I do like her character arc and her learning curve.

In a way, the older actress is the softer version of Joon Young, and this is why Joon Young has problems with her, I think
Ita! I think that's one of the reasons the older actress likes her too. I haven't watched WW in a week and a half but I can't wait to see the two strike up a friendship.

I am still so happy that we are on the same page about Joon Young.
