I am terribly behind on answering the comments. Terribly. My work seems to have taken off as a rocket and it is not coming back until it makes a full loop around Jupiter. I am really really sorry, I love and treasure everyone of your comments. :(

But you know, Lee Jong Hyuk, my favourite actor-who-always-plays-villains is going to star in a 50-episode Family drama "Please marry me"? As a lead!!!! And he won't be killing and torturing people, but will be falling in love with the actress from "Family's honour", Yoon Jung Hee! EEEEE! I was so happy when dangermousie first told me about this, it has been a long long time since I first noticed Lee Jong Hyuk in "Green Rose", but this is the first time I see him in a proper lead role ("Powerful Opponents" doesn't really count"). I have become even happier when I saw the poster:

See! Lee Jong Hyuk:
1) is not scowling, but smiling happily
2) he is wearing jeans
3) and acting in a cute way! And no torture devices anywhere to be seen!
4) the poster is generally adorable and pink
4) but he will be in angst at some point, I am sure:

He is absolutely awesome in Bichunmoo. Since I only knew him from Green Rose it was a pleasant suprise seeing him in this role. And although I think he totally rocks in Chuno, I'm glad I know him as a good guy as well.

I adore him so much after chuno. It's about time he plays a male lead!

The only thing putting me off is that it's 50 episodes...I don't even have time to catch up with prosecutor princess nowadays. I only have time for cinderella's sister. ;(

I seem to be into family dramas nowdays , after "Family Honour" (but nothing over 50+ eps - it is my limit). I find them easy to watch just before going to bed.

I really liked him in "Powerful Opponents" too, he played a good guy but a bit on a tortured side. :D

YAY!!! That is an amazing main cast, BUT I don`t like the supporting cast(only a few were revealed and personally, I like none of them)and the PD/scriptwriter duo does not seem promising-they`ve never worked together before and this is their first ever family drama experience(Screenwriter Jung Yoo Kyung has done quite a few seriously depressing and/or cliche-filled mini dramas and PD Park Man Young has experience with daily dramas, special and mini dramas, but no experience with family dramas)- a successful mini drama scriptwriter coupled with an inexperienced PD can make huge mistakes(for example Smile,you) .

These are my exact thoughts - I am not really sure about the PD and the scriptwriter. But on the plus side, as simplyjanie pointed in the comment below, Yoon Jung Hee is quite selective in her roles and may be this will be a success? "Vineyard man" had a good potential for a family drama (it just had an ugly male lead :D)

This should be a great drama 'cos Yoon Jung Hee is very selective in her project and so far her dramas were very good and she always receive award for acting. Please marry me fighting! The older lady Go Doo Sim is another great actress - superb acting in More beautiful than a flower!

Yes, she always seems quite discerning! I like the older couple too - Go Doo Sim is fabulous (she has done so many dramas! ) and I find Baek Il Sub to be very endearing.
