EEEEEEEE! I have been really really good this week, finishing my unfinished dramas as if there is no tomorrow! "Pick the Stars" was a very typical Korean family drama; it was as far from any reality as you can get, packed to the brim with clichés, stereotypes and family love, but did it all well and made you feel better about the world. Can you find anywhere in the world a rather low intelligence lazy girl who would turn into a shrewd hard-worker the minute her parents die (simultaneously, under the wheels of a lorry sent by evil relatives)? No, I don't think so. But at the same time – isn't it nice to see this transformation happening (overnight)? And isn't it nice to watch the bundle of evil secondary girls, lost grandchildren, awful mothers, transplants of something I didn't even know existed in human body and all such things, whist having a cup of tea and a cake?

Needless to say, I enjoyed "Pick the Stars". I just wish the number of Pal Kang's brothers and sisters was a little smaller as five was way too much and that we also had kissing scenes sooner; leaving the kissing until the end of the episode 19 was not at all acceptable. But the ending is ridiculously good and satisfying to the extreme.

Now I can watch "Cinderella's sister". :D

Hee! I, too, liked it, clichés and all. :)

I didn't find the number of kids too high. I LOVED Pa-rang like I've never loved an onscreen fictional kid character before (trufax!). He's just too awesome. And I also liked how the girls were rooting (and obviously were crushing!) on the other guys: so adorable.

Her transformation was nice to see; I liked it just as much as Kang Ha's (favorite character, of course! KJH FTW! I watched why did you come to our house?, which was kind of painful to do since it had a trillion clichés, just because of him and his acting. His soulful eyes, omg1 *dreamy sigh* No wonder I loved Kang Ha but I digress).

My only pet peeve? Jae Young. OMG I wanted to strangle her. I'm sure this was the effect she was supposed to have on me, but still, delusional much? insane much? alkdjalsj And of course there was a sudden change. I didn't mind such a change in Pal-Gang cos we get to see how she struggled through it all, but it felt like Jae Young woke up one day and suddenly saw the light. WTH? Sometimes I'd like my villains to remain villains, if you know what I mean. Why do they all have to be good or less evil in the end? Jae Young personality change (is she schizophrenic?) felt like a forced one and wayyy too odd. Then only redeeming bit is that she and Joon Ha can finally be friends, but that's about it.

AND PICS! OMG! *fans self*

Yay, so glad you liked! I thought the ending of them living in sin in that teeny littl house and an extra kid was adorable.

I don't like them both giving up their money though. Booo! Am materialistic :)

Umm, why hello there. Yum. lol.

I made the mistake of watching Great Inheritance after seeing PtS not realizing that KJH was in it and playing the villain. Oh my was he ever a douche in that. But those pictures help to erase the bad memories. ;)
