alexandralI love this song so much - I never get tired of it. I have completely forgotten that it was a rare song by Nautilus that had a very good video clip. Youtube is great - I found something I forgot long time ago and it is like the whole late 80s - beginning of 90s are flooding back. So much happened, my generation has been living through the "May You Live In Interesting Times" curse for quite a while already.

me too! My sister used to be particular fond of "Я хочу быть с тобой". She always was such a fantasy-maker so she made up a story about the meaning of "Я хочу быть с тобой":
1. They loved each other
2. The girl died
3. The boy tried to kill himself and ended up in a mental institution.
You can make a film on the basis of this song alone.

I like one of the first "Aria" albums , but as you say - they quickly disappeared from the scene.

Я недавно какую-то программу видела, показывали как Кипелов со товарищи в гараже репетируют. "Назад в подвалы!" - девиз российской рок-сцены 2000-ных. :)

А по большом счёту в 90-е протестный русский рок, в таком виде, в каком мы его любим, оказался не востребован. Из-за этого многие группы подались непонятно куда.
