Monday RL update

alexandralReal Life has been quite good to us recently:
1. Sasha seems to be doing really quite well at school. It took her a while but now she seems to be at the top of the class in everything, particular in reading. This doesn't stop her from being Very Very slow with reading "Anne Frank" diaries.
2. All our pets are alive and well and even the fish tank is settled. Some of the fish we got in June have already grown HUGE.
3. I am trying to increase my work hours, but not to the full 5-days week, but to the 4 days week. It seems that Sasha is getting older and doesn't need me so much with the home work anymore - so I guess I have always loved my job.
4. One of the little systems I did in summer seems to be a hoot and even made it into a "National institute for Health Research" publication. I am invited to celebrate today by the owners of the system.
5. Mr.Alexander is talking about a possibility of a new bike. The favourite of the moment is Harley Davidson "Fat Bob". And no _ haven't instigated him. Not at all. And "Sons of Anarchy" have nothing to do with this.

Date: 2009-10-11 08:53 pm (UTC)She is 10 now. She has started Anne Frank about 2 month ago but where usually she gets through a book very quickly she seems to progress quite slowly with "Anna Frank". She still wants to continue reading, though.

I was drooling all over it at the Harley Davidson centre.
