Since I know some of the shows you usually like to watch I'm not sure if you'll enjoy "30 Rock". It may depend on if you have the same weakness for woman wearing dark rimmed glasses (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm4048853248/nm0275486). ;D Or Alec Baldwin. But you'll find out quickly if you like it or not. If it doesn't make you laugh after 2-3, maybe four episodes then you can stop because they are all relatively similar (I started with the second season, and it's the third season now). And it doesn't really matter where you start, there's only a minimal "story arc". Sometimes there are a few jokes that refer to earlier episodes but that's the exception. It's just a quick, fun 20 minutes to watch.
