Worlds within+ Hyun Bin!!!!!!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone on my friends list who celebrates this holiday! From my heart I must say how thankful I am for all of you!!! ** big hugs **

I had a bit of a cold yesterday so I stayed at home and had a chance to finally start the new drama with Hyun Bin, Worlds Within . I have watched 4 episodes and my impression is very underwhelmed . This is such a pity, I adore both main leads but the drama is not my thing at all. "Worlds Within" is a Korean drama trying to be a Western show, with partner swapping and office love stories and fast dialogues, but the problem is that i am not in Korean dramas for this!! I am in for forbidden eternal love! Also "Worlds Within" doesn't do Western show particular well (as "My Sweet city" did), the story so far is not catching. What a pity!!!!!

Still, I was reminded that Hyin Bin is the prettiest man in Korea and I might just have to finish watching "Worlds Within" so that I can just watch how gorgeous he is.

I really like their relationship as well. Except the past episodes.. the way he looks at her *dies* such angst!

The forbidden side of their love story is killing me. KHD was ready to accept that he likes the "boy" and then the revelation the she is a daughter of his friend comes along and now he is all noble and views her as a daughter of sorts and I am all full of angst!!!

I like the courtesan, she is so beautiful and again - FORBIDDEN LOVE!!!!

YES! AH that scene in either 16-17? when she asked him what if she was a woman.. then he kissed her forehead! GAHH!! That was amazing!

All this forbidden love and angst is going to kill us! I finished 18 and it just seems to be getting worst! Where is this all going?! O_o

YAY! You have seen the eps. 18! I am so worried about this painting contest. I am worried it all will go wrong and they will lose each other over this. Whoever loses will be crushed? On the other hand, KHD was ready to give his live for YB and he is ready to sacrifice himself again?

I am also so worried about the courtesan's fate.

And I am worried that the people who killed her father will not be persecuted (As they should be).

THAT WAS AMAZING. And how she is always looking after his hand!!!! (And so she should - I thought that the tearing of the king's portrait was a bit childish).

I was thinking yesterday - I wish the King interfered and did something.

Also I hope KHD will figure something, he is really quite clever. I like that he didn't act rushly after they find out who is the murderer.

The Merchant guy must DIE. I like the actor, though, he really fleshed this character nicely. But all actors are good in this drama.

Me too! He doesn't even seem to know anything about it! I really want him to save the day. This painting competition really shouldn't be going through!

The beginnings like this are always suspicious. It could be that he just lost her for some reason (he is in exile, etc.) or could be just a scene for her to come in unexpectedly. Also consider that he is her teacher and her father's friend so there must be big obstacles on the way of their relationship. Or may be she just run away with the courtesan.

PLEASE LET THIS BE NOT her death, the creators! I hate when the dramas start all happy and cheerful and end in death!!!

I really hope not even though I can just smell the doom. :P I hate that as well!! It's so kdrama to do that to us. How they have us laughing half way then all sudden people are dropping left and right. :X

I know! I remember the sequence with the cloth she used to bandage her breasts (when she lost it and later she was in the bath and KHD came in and she was screaming like mad and then he used the cloth to wash). These scenes made me laugh so much and now look where we are! At least we didn't have so much of excessive angst in this drama.

Aww that scene was hilarious! It does seem forever ago that I have laughed for that drama. :( That's true, it's only recently that the angst has been piled up. :P We only have two more episodes! I want to find out what happens already! Sorry, i'm growing impatient. XD

I am also getting so inpatient. But huge thanks to viikii and the subbers, we most likely will find out the outcome very fast. And whatever outcome, I LOVED the main girl, Moon Geun Young. She is an excellent acteress. I only saw her once before, in "Innocent Steps".

She is lovely! I've seen her in Innocent Steps as well. I also saw her in Love Me Not (total weeper!) and My Little Bride (one of my favorites despite being so cliche ^^).

I also always a huge fan of Park Shin Yang and this is another show that didn't disappoint!
