alexandral: (BSG -Lee - he is going to be a president)

I have finally caught up with Battlestar Galactica and the last episode, "Faith", was much better for me then the previous two.

To cheer myself up from all this Lee-lessness , this is a mini-collection of screencaps from "Escape velocity", of Lee.

Serious about the future of democracy:

"Listen to me!"

"Please?"

Sceptical

Determined

"Oh, what can I do with you?"

Having his hands in the pockets of his suit trousers (a huge thing of mine!)

He is saying something acid, right?

No Lee-less episode could be considered good :D, but the moment where Kara was told that she "will lead them to destruction" by the hybrid (if I remember correctly") was quite interesting.

And I cried at the ending scene with Adama and Laura. ** sniff **

I thought so when I heard that line in one of the season four teasers, then again given how blah I feel about the latest episodes, I'm not optimistic about how that will be payed out in the upcoming episodes :(. I really hope I'm wrong and the rest of the season gets better! :D

I also cried a litte bit with Laura and Adama! Mary McDonnell is such a fantastic actress, all her scenes were the only stuff I liked about the episode!

I am not too optimistic neither, but I had an idea recently that may be the way they go with the One True God theme is that there is a creator (in a form of a machine, may be) somewhere and he can affect human thinking process? I know, this sounds too far fetched but Baltar as Jesus is killing me.

She really lived her episodes, it must have been such a big emotional impact. And Edward James Olmos, the tall Laura's illness is taking on him is so visible but he just SMILED!

This is the saddest but the truest truth.

OMG! YOUR ICON!!!!!!!!

I made a few from the episode 4.02. :D I had such a great spark of hope! I will keep my inner optimist going - may be it will all get better when Kara returns home to LEE?

I am still trying to entice you to watch this. The mini-series (season 0) and the seasons 1 and 2 are absolute classics, ground-breaking TV.

The hands in pants pockets is ok. As a career military officer though Lee's hands on cocked hips and sprawls on the admiral's couch when in uniform had me cringing.

Sylia, love your avi.

This is quite a good point. In reality , I don't think a career officer will be doing any of these things. They are , like ballet dancers, so trained to maintain the posture. Any military officer I have known was mostly very careful in movements.

Hmm, you made me think.

Except when I was figure skating then my movements were all over the place. Actually though that brings to mind the muscle memory issue, because I really felt it kick in when I was skating. So a a pilot, who kept himself alive by muscle memory, Lee should have been even more atuned to keeping the posture.

This makes sense too. Muscular memory is an interesting thing. It is like when even if I don't drive , when I am in a car with someone I go through driving motions.
