Today is the birthday of one of my dearest LJ friends miss_dian!! Happy birthday sweetie!!! Let this day be wonderful and bring you a happy year ahead!! ** big hugs **
In honour of miss_dian's birthday, below is a pictorial collection of images of the Hottie Number 1, Takeshi Kaneshiro!!
HEEE! Please do!! I am may be repeating myself but I liked all the characters so much. The moment when the Iron guards leader asked Dam Deok to kill himself for everyone's good? I cried too.
Actually, it was later on, when they were alone in the village of the destitutes, and she asked him to punish her, but then they end up crying and hugging. *sniff*
She's all right, but I prefer Sujini. It took me a while to realize that the same trio of actors play the three "legendary" characters in the first episode. The girls particularly look different. They sort of exchanged hairstyles, but I still managed to recognize them. :P
I also prefer Sujini, she is so loyal. Some of my friends are really quite against Kiha but my feelings for her are that of pity. SHe has the attitude to life where everything is more difficult than it is in reality and this attitude is very hard to live with.
I prefer the rest of the episodes to the first one, for me Bae Yong Joon looks slightly not-right in the first episode.
I think it was the gray hair for me. He looked as someone who aged prematurely or something . LOL. But I agree, BYJ played the character with great dignity.
That's exactly what I'm doing at the moment, since I'm not really crazy about any of the currently airing dramas right now. Oh, and I'm rewatching Pride as well :)
I should start "Pride" where I stopped.. May be this week - everyone has been talking about it again.
It is a pity that "The Legend" didn't get anything in Baeksang awards. It was unfortunate that another excellent drama as "Money's Warfare" aired in the same year. I really love MWarfare and must post about it, but my two favourite dramas of 2007 (MWarfare and "The Legend") could not have been more different.
Don't you think there is a resemblance between Park Shin Yang and Kang Ji Hwan? I think it is the way they smile and also when they "snarl". The curvy end of mouth or something :D
And yes, it was a pity that The Legend didn't win anything at the Baeksang Arts Award. But they won a lot of things, in some other awards, right?
I think I can see the resemblance too. Also they both are very funny to watch and at the same time attractive. This is a very hard to achieve combination - funny (even on a goofy side) + hot.
Also they both are very funny to watch and at the same time attractive. I think Rain achieved that in Full House, as well despite the overly bright outfits he sometimes wore ;D
Hehehe yes, true. I like his washboard abs, though. I bought his 05 and 06/07 concert albums recently and I must make screencaps 'cause he looks so hot there :) Audience went absolutely feral whenever he took off his shirt. Hah :D
Eeeeeeeeeeee!!! Thank you so much! *claps* I lurve Takeshi, and he still looks super hot as the years pass. The last movie I saw him in was The Warlords and I couldn't help but stare, he is still as gorgeous as ever! I love the last wet Takeshi pic, and the second last one is so mysterious and sexy!! :) PS: How did you come up with the idea of posting a picspam of Takeshi!! It is such a coincidence because last night I was rewatching Kamisama Mou Sukoshi Dake because I missed watching him on my TV screen! Heee... thanks again! ^^
Very nice. :) I especially like the first short-haired picture of him. The last picture's nice, too. (Though I feel kind of bad for admiring the car more than him in that one picture; I blame my inner mechanic...)

** laughs ** I also shared your admiration of the car's qualities. Black cars look like living creatures.
The first short-haired picture was hailed as a non-Photoshop edited one. I also like that one.
Bae Yong Joon actually looks much better most of the time I know. I was just teasing her. :)
Belated Happy Birthday!
By the way, I made a post earlier today about a movie that has Rain in a leading role. Maybe you'd like to join the discussion (http://trailer-spot.livejournal.com/175835.html). :)
Thanks for the birthday wish! I had a good one this year ^^ And thanks also for the trailer/review link of I'm a Cyborg but that's Okay. I will join in the discussion for sure :) I made a mini-review and screencap review of it a while back: http://miss-dian.livejournal.com/85348.html#cutid1
Btw. Nice icon! I watched Old Boy recently but want to rewatch it again when I am not as exhausted. The characters were so interesting there. As always there is a unique "twisted-ness" about Park Chan Wook's films :D
