Dilemma’s

Since the end of “Rome” and hiatus of “Battlestar Galactica” is on I am feeling a good-serial-deprivation. I even have finished watching “Alias 2” which numbed my intelligence buds a little bit, though Michael Vartan has absolutely exemplary chin and altogether is a joy to behold.

I have been looking for something serial-like to watch in order to set my evenings right and there are few options of reasonable price:

1. Buffy season 2 ( But I am not sure I like Angel’s facial features)
2. Firefly (a favourite at the moment)
3. Farscape
4. Complete collection of “Lord of the Rings”. This is not a serial in a sense, but long, and is very close second

I am in dilemma and indecision! WOuld love an advise!

I would choose Buffy because I like it and I like Angel :P

However people absolutely love Farscape so maybe you want to give that one a try ;) (I haven't watched it)

By statistcs 4/4 ;) i was going to get LOTHR and Farscape,but Farscape was already sold which left me with LOTHR alone ;)

I vote for Firefly and Lord of the Rings. I'll also add a couple that aren't on your list ;)

Space: Above and beyond and Numb3rs. :) Also if you thought Alias was bearable, then Dark Angel is also very good eye and brain candy.

LOTR it is ! I think i will get Firefly next week, i saw it for 19.99 pounds only ;) Farscape exscaped me (was sold out). ginger001 likes Numb3rs, i should look out for it!

You have excellent choices. Farscape is about one of my most favorite things in the world, so I'd put it at the top of my list, but Buffy S2 and Firefly are also pretty amazing. Lord of the Rings trilogy is always perfect for any occasion, but because the films came out in December for three years in a row, I always associate them now with winter and the holidays. Let us know what you decide on.

Quite sadly Farscape was sold out already;( My cable package doesn't include Sci Fi channel, i should probably persuade my dearest to get a better one, i think there is not much difference, really ;) Farscape was shown on Sci Fi, but i didn't realize it is so good! I got LOTR for now.

I love "Farscape" a lot, but you should start with "Lord of the Rings" because it is sooooo awesome and also very beautiful to look at.

I have got LOTR because i should have donr it long ago and i feel like i want to make some icons ;). Farscape already gone ;(, but i must find it - statistically my friends list voted 4/4 - LOTR/Farscape!
