First of all - happy birthday to savepureness and maddeinin. I hope that the next year will be happy and full of good things for both of you!!!

All you have been posting incessantly about Battlestar Galactica and making me want to watch it again. I was a little apprehensive as the show and I had parted on not-happy terms, but after queenofthorns stopped posting about anything else but BSG I caved in. I am so glad I did. I completely forgot how much I love this show. I love:

- Lee! And his path that will lead him to be a president that finally leads everyone to Earth.
- And Kara! And them together! And her special destiny of finding Earth!
- I love Tigh ! And he is a cylon! What a surprise!
- I love Leoben! But I am still Lee/Kara until the end of times.
- I even love Anders! Because he is a cylon too (and how did this happen?).
- I love scruffy and aging Adama!

- But please, take away annoying Baltar.

He is excellent! I have seen him in "Hornlower" (of which I only watched some episodes) and he was great there too.

I am not sure if Battlestar Galactica is your thing - it is pure sci-fi.

I never disliked the guy but his character always seemed to be a bit pointless. His character finally got some conflict.

I could be totally wrong but it seems that they are setting this up. Why otherwise would he go into the Politics. It didn't come across as if he is bitter, just that he looks for something he is interested to do.

My season 3 is on it's way but I was hoping to ask.. Mostly about Lee and Kara, of course. They are not together, why? they clearly love each other still.. Also - where is everyone (with Roslin's leadership) going.. And how did Anders and Tigh became cylons??

This is the only sense I can get out of his storyline. I honestly hope this will happen. There is Roslin's "dying leader" destiny on the way but may be she will die when they reach the Earth and Lee will be the next president. It all very much resembles Exodus storyline at this point of time (with single God vs. multiple Gods, in particular) and it could be that Roslin is some sort of Moses (who died on the doorstep of the Promised Land) and Lee is some sort of Joshua.

It is like his character finally got a point of existing rather than being Lee's mini-me with muscles. I like his scene with Kara, the actor did the fabulous job there.
