although you know I'm kind of bummed that they had to give the main character in Moonlight an American accent - I watched an interview with that actor and he has such a lovely sexy New Zealand?I think? accents.
Oh, interesting! I have heard someone else mentioning it. Alex O'Loughlin was born in Sydney.. For me he sounds quite different from the rest of actors on "Moonlight" (and this is one of his greatest appeals :D). I can't put my finger on it but his accent doesn't sound quite American for me and I like it - his Australian accent is coming through.
In my experience it is quite a rare case when an actor can do an accent "to a tee". I am watching Angel at the moment and the fact that Wesley is so clearly doesn't speak with real British accent is a bit confusing.
I love accents too - and I have one too myself.. ;D
