I think it will be out in the USA somewhere early winter..
I especially think of one of my great-aunts who was married for only a month and then her husband went to war, to die.
Oh, how sad! And many of the women never married again because there were not enough men after the WW2. I know that many of my friends didn't have grandfathers like I did but still - 2 out of the whole class! I guess these were the classes of Okudzhava's songs, boys and girls graduated in 1942.. "I kogda nad nimi gryanul smertnyj grom"..
Actually, when I think of people of my grandparents and great-grandparents' generation, I just feel incredibly grateful I didn't have to live this, Civil War and WWII.
I agree, we can't evrn allow ourselves take democracy and peace for granted!
