I know how you feel about the lazy. I feel the same way sometimes.
I don't think it's necessary to friend those people back. When someone friends me I don't always friend them back. I go look at their journal. If they don't write in it, or write in another language, or if they don't have any of the same interests as me I don't friend them back.
Sometimes I friend people because they write interesting posts. And they don't necessarily have the same interests as me even. And I don't feel bad if they don't friend me back.
Actually I rarely look at my friends list. Every once in a while I will look at it and realize there are some new people there.
I think I would be hurt if someone I like unfriended me. But I don't think I would say anything.
