I loved a lot The Little Mermaid when I was a kid, and I felt a bit disappointed when I got to know that its true ending was different, but almost immediately -even though I was sad- I did appreciate it much more than the Disney version. I don't know why, but it has got something 'poetic' in its drama, doesn't it? I feel Japanese animations really charming, to me, I loved reading Sailor Moon because of the way she was drawn, mostly.
