Damo pictures + a little about Ireland
This is a copy of the post I made yesterday in
dorama_chat , Here
Damo
I have started watching Korean period drama "Damo" from
meganbmoore’s recommendation and it is an absolute classic.
Short synopsis: 17 century Korea: Chae-Ok was separated from her brother in infancy, after their father was accused of treason. She was taken as a servant into a rich house where she met "a son of mistress", Hwangbo. As they grew and learned martial arts together Hwangbo replaced for her the lost brother. When Hwangbo joins Police and becomes a Commander, he takes Chae-Ok with him as a tea-serving officer (HEE! They had tea-serving officers in Korean Police :D). Later Chae-Ok meets charismatic rebel, Sung-Baek.
Damo is great in many different ways:
- Fabulous trio of main characters
- Storylines that make a lot of sense, move fast and no less engaging and interesting then any of big-screen films, and not only in the romance part of it.
- Love story to die for.
- Commander Hwando who is a paragon of masculinity, reserve and passion
See: Beards? What beards? I don’t notice any!!!:

Credit for the wonderful pictures: shirly, soompi.
First part of the love triangle: Chae-Ok / Hwangbo

Second part of the love triangle: Chae-Ok/ Sung-Baek:

And AWWW! Commander Hwangbo on his own, because is so great!!!

Ireland
I have also started watching Korean drama "Ireland" with Hyun Bin (because he is fabulous beyond any words) and he is so cute and young and everything else in it, but the main heroine doesn’t fall in love with Hyun Bin?? What?? No, I am afraid, I have to give this a miss. :D Also dialogue seems to be really quite bizzare.

I have both "Daddy Long Legs" and "A Millionaire's First Love". I had a huge sleep, so I guess I will "A Millionare"'s a chance. I don't particular like bad endings, but my obsession with Hyun Bin is very strong. :D

More I think about Ireland, more disappointed I am too. I must say that Hyun Bin is VERY VERY hot in this, so if you don't object to the ending and to the fact that the rest of the drama is of the "WHAT??" category, may be you will like it!!!!!.

I think I will re-watch "The Snow Queen" a thousand times. :D

Well I have to at least give it a try now lol. Just for eye candy purposes at least. :)
WOW, "The Snow Queen" must be really good. You're making me want to see it even more now. It's up to episode 8 with subs right?

Truly, "The snow queen" is fabulous, it has a pace of jdrama, deep feelings of kdrama and plus it is so poetic. Must watch. It is subtitled up to 8 episodes of d-addicts, but I suspect there will be new episodes this weekend. I think the last(16) episode is airing next week.
In a case you need it :
1) torrents: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/torrents.php?search=snow+queen&type=&sub=View+all&sort=
2) Subtitles: http://d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_41850_0.htm
