My top 7 fictional boyfriends

Top 7 fictional boyfriends!!! In pictures!!!

I was targeted by sweet [livejournal.com profile] nutmeg3. (But I must say I did enjoy putting all this together greatly). No particular order! I have a BIG heart and it was difficult enough to restrict myself to 7, so I have gone over-board with this including 8. And some of the runner-ups are very worthy too, like Lee Adama, latest Bond or Mr. Darcy!!

Some of the pictures are big!!!! They break my layout, but I am not so worried because it is for the good cause.

1. Mulder, X-files. Puppy eyes, dorky genius. Wears tailored suits and has a dead-pan sense of humor. Partner to fabulous Dana Scully.

2. Neo, Matrix. Geeky programmer turned cool martial arts artist and the Saviour of the world. Black leather, guns, shades and obscure conversations.

3. Lucius Vorenus, Rome. Centurion with principles and blue eyes. Best friend of inimitable Titus Pullo. Intense. Wears togas and sandals.

4. Sandor Clegane, A Song of Ice and fire. Angry, cruel and disfigured in infancy, but with a hope for redemption. Honest and brutal. Favourite horse - Stranger.

5. Mr. Thornton, North and South. *** swoon ***

6.Kang Bok-ku, A love to kill. Wears the weight of the world on his shoulders. Tortured and full of angst.

7. Erast Fandorin, Erast Fandorin mysteries by Boris Akunin (Link). Russian detective. Genius but unlicky in love. As cool as ice. Dry sense of humour.

Erast Fandorin as portrayed by Oleg Menshikov:

8. Detective Nick Cavanaugh, The Nine. Green eyes.

I am of school of thought that Jaime will not die, I think he payed his "dues" when he lost his hand. But loads of others, yes! ** sigh **

And Sandor is bound to die IMHO; and in this I believe mostly because of that prophetic conversation he had with Sansa. Also I believe he is going to be the one to kill un-dead Mountain (and a combat with Mountain can never end well, as Oberyn Martell proved).

Hmm..this is true. But - there is the strange conversation regarding Sandor in Feast, where the brother on the isle says that "The Hound is dead." and "Sandor Clegane is at rest".

So maybe the Hound dying is a metaphorical death? In other words - he puts away/kills the Hound persona? (maybe because he wants to be a better person - inspired by Sansa?) Okay - I might be grasping for straws here. ;D

I know!! I appreciate that you making me quite hopeful too. I I also think that the old Hound died. And I am totally creating fanfiction here - I hope Sandor will save Brienne miraculously out of the situation she is in. The fact that they met was there for a purpose, nobody else knows where she has gone (And well, they can go ahead together rescuing Sansa).

But when I am serious I do really see how Martin singled Sandor out from the very beginning to kill Mountain. For Sandor it would be an ultimate aim. And also if not Sandor, then who? Remember what had happened during the "King's Hand" tournament? And don't think anyone will survive after their fight.
