This is a different case, though - True Blood goes off on a tangient as some sort of fanfiction, but Game of Thrones is pretty close. I think now you already love the show, you will probably see all the characters in the books with the actors' faces. Even I do it already. :D
It's been very good lately, but this last ep was just absolutely perfect for me. It makes me really sad (but mostly annoyed) that some people are actually considering dropping it because Ned died.
I can't believe some people just didn't pick up the vibe of doom! But the next ep is bound to have everyone comeing back for more, I think. :D
