i thought he was just too stupid for that: to hatch the whole plan, to keep quiet, all by himslef. But even if someone in any way pushed him towards this decision, I am sure that 80% of it is pure Joffrey.
Also, poor actor. he is so young and he starts with this terrible role. He is doing great, but I don't think he is going to get any fans.
