Don't you think they are just lulling people into a false sense of Cersei being a mistreated Queen? This way the audience comes to sympathize with her only to be betrayed and shocked when they see how truly awful she is? There is much more of an emotional impact this way and I have a feeling that is what the show is going for. I say wait for the whole season to unfold before making a judgement on how the show is portraying Cersei. We may be more than halfway into the season, but there is still a lot to happen.

I've also read some grumbling about Sansa and the smartass way she talks to Septa Mordane. I can also understand why they are doing this. Because we can't get into the character's heads they have to go about making Sansa seem snotty and diva-ish in a different way. This way when the audience starts to dislike her and dismiss her as a spoiled brat what happens later will have more impact.

Joffrey was so convincing when he talked to Sansa and gave her the gift and made all those "seemingly" heart felt promises. Who knew he was such a convincing actor.

All this is to build the viewers up for a shock. So I say wait till all the events of the entire season unfold. I have a feeling we won't be disappointed. :)

I'm not watching next Sunday's episode early. This way I have something to look forward to. ;)
