The problem I am facing personally is that I know the spoilers from reading the books. I find myself inpatient. It will take literally years for the show to get to my favourite parts of the books. Some of my favourite characters won't even appear in this season. And overall, the first book is my least favourite of the series. Although the series is full of terrible events, still, in my view, the largest amount of terrible events happens in the first book.
