I am not sure yet about Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan because I haven't seen him anywhere, but I am really glad that this adaptation is finally getting the ages right. This is something that always bothered me in any previous adaptations:
- at the beginning of the books D'Artagnan is 17 - both Atos and Portos are heavily thirty-something (so yes, they both are D'Artagnan's father's age) - Aramis is younger than Atos and Portos.
As to the fact that the movie looks very heavy on action - I like this too, this corresponds with the feeling I get from the books too.
