I'm anti-fidelity as well although I'm much harsher when the people are married/in a long term relationship or are older.
I am not doing this consciously I think. It is not that I can't forgive, I forgive but I can't have a relationship anymore, it is just spoiled. And I think I was worse when I was younger!!!!
I really see them as being little more than children playing at love. It's not realistic that they're going to be together forever.
I agree in a way, but I was surprised how long Lyla lasted. I think she really loves Jason in a way that will affect her whole life and that they would have stayed together if not for the accident. I have friends who were married at 18 (as soon as they were allowed, basically) and who are one of the happiest couples I know.
