I was a bit critical of Rose for screwing up time but then when I thought about it - I couldn't blame her at all. She did it more on an impulse and she didn't know consequences, though I was a little cross with her when she took the baby Rose after Doctor said "Don't touch the BABY!". Who knows, if she didn't do it Doctor probably would have sorted everything by Tardis and Rose's father would nor have to die.
it demonstrates the doctor's alienness' because he didn't anticipate what Rose would do. And it was so wonderful and sad when Doctor talked to the couple who were going to get married that he can never have "just normal" life. You know, Dr. Who has all the clumsy effects and jokes, but some things it this series about are really deep in non-flashy way..
I have watched "Children in need" episode and I am glad I did! It shown how the change is affecting the Doctor and his relationship with Rose.
