BSG finale

I have to make this short because of the Project of Doom thing:

1. I have watched BSG finale this morning and I had to get up an hour earlier for this because of above mentioned POD. And of course now if wish I never did because I have been VERY-VERY upset the whole day and unnecessary forceful at the meetings. Because what can the girl do when :



2. Lee’s arms, deltoids, triceps, EVERYTHING IS GONE.

3. Kara doesn’t love him anymore

4. Kara says things like “this is MY own man “ (the man I OWN)

5. EVERYBODY IS HAVING A TERRIBLE HAIRCUT DAY

6. LEE WANTS TO LEAVE all the civilians behind. MY LEE!!!


The only GOOD thing is that queenofthorns has written this amazing fiction and now I can laugh about it and not involve my soul so much with Lee, Kara, Kara/Lee.

I SAY BIGGEST EVER THANK YOU to queenofthorns because, I guess, BSG for about a year was a part of me and I felt really really sad that this part of me was spoiled ( and before this moment I didn’t even realise what a big part it was and how silly it is to get attached to something fictional and even probably not everything is spoiled and I am over-dramatising everything). But now I can laugh about it all..

they had to leave the civvies behind. If Lee is anything he is pragmatic. remember in the mini he had to leave the ships behind without the FTL drive. there was no way Pegasus or Galactica could survive the assault. none of the other ships in the fleet have weapons. and I thought it was great that Lee was the one to say that had to jump. not that he cares any less about the people on New Caprica but Bill's first reaction would be to fight, he's the symbolic father of the colonials, his first instinct is to protect them.

and Jamie isn't really fat;)its all make-up and padding. we will see the return of toned Lee.

I not exactly a Kara/Lee shipper I go back and forth on them a lot, but I am pretty sure Anders is a goner, I can't see them leaving Starbuck married.

personally I thought the finale was awesome and risky. and I am looking forward to the occupation/resistance storyline. and they will eventually get back to traveling in space/looking for earth.

I like that they are shaking things up a bit. YMMV

That whole scene made me very uncomfortable. Still for me the episode was bringing everyone down - showing that following Baltar's suggestion to colonise New Caprica was a mistake. In season 3, when there is danger, suspense and Cylon Menace again - I'm sure everyone will return to the characters we know and love ..... although Anders will have to die for that to happen :P
