used to read quite a lot of fanfiction at one time, but i got used to it and got used to discern "good from bad" - and there is more of bad fanfiction then of good .. ;(
So true. I've gotten to the point where I won't even try reading a story unless I know the writer is a good one. Most of the writers I really like are on my flist. :)
