ASOS and Bollywood love

Ok, I can’t stay away from LJ any longer, Sasha has gone to her friend’s house for a day, I can’t work because I need a remote connection to my work computer and I can’t get it as my job-share-partner is using computer right this minute.

Not many things are happening recently except for my newly re-discovered love for Bollywood movies which started with unforgettable photo essay from [livejournal.com profile] dangermousie. I watched “Elaan” and “Hollywood/Bollywood” and wonder if anybody has a good Indian film to recommend. It seems Sasha loves Indian films too!!!

ASOIF I am reading slowly and enjoying "A Storm of Swords"

Jaime Loosing his hand! And he, who is “alive when fighting” **sobs**. But it must have been as atonement for him for the Bran . **sigh**. Bath scene – it is just one of these scenes I can read 1000 times, so HEARTBREAKING!

Brienne How clever it was to throw stone on the Tully’s boat. Yay Brienne! She is so unbelievably great!

Catelyn and Robb Here comes THE RANT – I know Jaime had to be released and HAD to be travelling with Brienne (this is such a GREAT storyline for me), BUT - releasing him is a beyond silly thing to do in the war. Jaime was Robb’s greatest asset. And Robb marrying some Jayne and forgetting his promises to Freys is a suicide. Plus it seems to me that Jayne and her family were serving Lord’s Tuwin’s purposes and he orchestrated it all.

Cersei Hurting poor baby Tyrion! EVIL woman!

Sandor He does have a destiny, Beric’s sword was broken for a reason and this must signify that the God of Light has a purpose for The Hound. I have read ahead where Arya left him for dead, but of course Sandor will not be dead, but **shrugs** is he going to be as Beric, as zombie **shrugs again**?

Stannis and Melisandre I really feel quite revolted by the two of them, but the power of Melisandre’s magic is amazing, and she wants to fight the Others. She is the only person in the whole kingdom is worried about The Others. Also I find it interesting that Stannis and Melisandre are behind the Catelyn’s and Robb’s murder, and Joffrey’s murder and behind everything, it seems, where everybody else thinks Stannis is good for nothing ..

Prophecies of the dwarf woman I am blown away by them:
-Who is a man without face standing on a bridge with the one-eyed crow on his shoulder?
- Catelyn is going to get back to life? **shrughs**
-Why dwarf woman saw Arya as cruel heart?

Sword of the Morning and Ashara Dayne O, I find them so fascinating! Sword of the Morning is totally romantic name and I am in love with him already. And it is SO interesting that Ned seems to have some relationship with his sister Ashara, and may be Jon is Ned’s son after all?

I loved Hollywood/Bollywood!! I totally recommend: Bunty aur Babli, Lagaan, and Main Hoon Na. These were the first three tintes that sprang to mind. The three are all happy ending and all with great songs and performances. If you want something more dramatic Dil Se is one of my favorites. Oh! And Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is fabulous as well.

Yes, Jeyne's family was definitely serving Tywin's purposes (although I don't think Jeyne herself is in on it...)

As for releasing Jaime, well, I think the thing is that Lord Karstark would have killed HIM had he still been in Riverrun - after all, Karstark murdered two completely innocent children (Kevan Lannister's son and Genna Frey's son) because he couldn't get to Jaime, do you think the fact that Jaime was chained hand and foot would have stopped him? And with Jaime dead, I think Sansa's head would have been sent to Catelyn in a box. And Catelyn's plan would have worked fine (no one knowing that Jaime ahd been released) had it not been for her damn fool brother.

I have seen some Indian movies and the past and I can see how they would be addicting. I wonder where I can get my hands on some now. And which ones are good. Hmmmm? :)
