Finally yes for Robin Hood?

maddeinin and some others greatly recommended the recent BBC "Robin Hood" (2006). Few things have been stopping me from watching this so far :

a) I have watched few episodes of the season 1 and they were rather bad, but maddeinin is saying that the show has improved since.

b) I have seen few other variations of the story and I would like for Guy of Gisborne to win the heart of the fair Marian for once, especially when he is played by Richard Armitage.

c) Robin Hood of BBC 2006 adaptation is without doubt the ugliest Robin Hood of them all and has unacceptable hair cut. It is absolutely illogical that Marian chooses this Robin Hood over Richard Armitage in black leather

But I am really really wavering because one of my favouritest favourites, Toby Stephens, is going to play Prince John in the season three. This is so very tempting - I just have enough time to catch up on the season 1 and 2 during the Holiday time of no shows!!!

If Toby looks like this is the season 3 of "Robin Hood" (the smirk, the stubble, THE HAIR) , I think I will HAVE to watch it:
