My favourite new show of this season: Sons of Anarchy

I am so happy "Sons of anarchy" received the second season from FX!! I haven't seen anyone talking about this show on my friends list, though for me this is by far the best new show of this season. I have been following it with great interest over the past two month and I am so happy that I will be able to watch more. My interst in the show started when it promised to be loosely based on Shakespeare's "Hamlet". After 12 episodes I must say that "loosely" means "very loosely" and also I must say that in many ways "Sons of Anarchy" isn't like anything I have watched before, a totally new concept. The only show it resembles is "The Wire", in way that I have the same goose-bumps inducing feeling that I am watching some real people going through their REAL life and NOT actors acting.



The show is set in a small American town called Charming that is ruled by an outlaw motorbike club named "Sons of Anarchy" or SAMCRO (an acronym of The Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original) . The main protagonist Jackson "Jax" Teller (played by yummy Charlie Hunnam) is the SAMCRO's vice-president. His mother Gemma Teller Morrow (Katey Sagal) is is the true leader behind the club and the Queen of Charming. Her husband and Jax's step-father Clarence "Clay" Morrow is played by Ron Perlman. There are many other interesting multi-dimensional characters in the show and there is a romantic interest for Jax. The show has it's flaws (it lags sometimes) but on the whole I like it very much.
